Gloucester County Sheriff's Weekly Arrest Report


In the 3500 block of Providence Road
Deputies received on July 16 a report of damaged property at Providence Baptist Church. The damage occurred sometime over the previous two days in which a 2006 Thomas Bus van that was parked in an area within a chain-link fence had a driver's side window broken out. Damage was approximately $300.
In the 2100 block of Perrin Creek Road
A resident reported on July 17 the larceny of diesel fuel that was siphoned from a truck parked at a residence. The theft occurred overnight. The loss was approximately $40.
In the 7700 block of Dutton Road
A resident reported a breaking and entering that occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Forced entry was made to the attached garage walk-through door and a 125 series John Deere tractor was taken with a value exceeding $200.
In the 2400 block of George Washington Memorial Highway
Deputies received on July 17 a report of shoplifting from Walgreen's Pharmacy. Management saw a woman conceal cosmetic items inside her purse and leave the store. The woman was identified and a summons for shoplifting was issued to Karen Leigh Robison, 48, of Fields Landing Road in Hayes. The items could not be resold and were valued at less than $200.
In the 2200 block of York Crossing Drive
Deputies received on July 17 a report of vandalism at York River Crossing Cinema. Three symbols were painted in red on the side of the building. The incident occurred during the evening of July 16. Similar symbols were discovered at the Auction House on Route 17.
In the 7000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway
Deputies received on July 18 a report of the fraudulent removal of property owned by Best Way Rent-to-Own. A customer defaulted on payments and pawned the property, which has a value exceeding $200.
In the 7800 block of Beaver Drive
A resident reported on July 18 that a rear door to a vacant residence had been pried open between July 1 and July 11. There were no items missing from the residence.
In the 7000 block of Hayes Shopping Court
Deputies received a report on July 19 of vandalism to a 1993 Bluebird bus parked at the Boys and Girls Club. Graffiti was spray-painted on the side and a window was damaged sometime overnight. The damage is less than $1,000.
In the 5700 block of Hickory Fork Road
A resident reported on July 14 a past breaking and entering that occurred over the weekend while the owner was out of town. Forced entry was made to the French doors. The only item reported stolen was a 2 1/2 –gallon gas can.
In the 6600 block of Jackson Lane
Deputies received on July 16 a fraud report from the Humane Society. A business credit card had fraudulent online transactions on July 12 for a total of approximately $900.
In the 6600 block of Branch Road
A resident reported on July 19 that her First Advantage Visa card number was used at multiple locations in Georgia between May 21 and July 1. Damages were $285.79.
In the 4200 block of Hickory Fork Road
A resident reported on July 19 a past larceny from a detached garage that occurred between July 10 and July 17 while the homeowner was out of the area. A chain saw and impact wrench were taken, with a combined value less than $200.
In the 6800 block of Village South Drive
A resident reported on July 19 damaged property that occurred overnight when two wires from the battery to a Rouse House scooter were cut.
In the 6500 block of Market Drive
A resident reported on July 19 the unauthorized use of a vehicle. After obtaining warrants, deputies arrested Marcus Edward Butler, 21, of John Clayton Memorial Highway in Gloucester.
In the 5000 block of Aberdeen Creek Road
A two-vehicle accident on July 21 resulted in the arrest of Jeffery Adam Culler, 19, of York River Drive inGloucester Point, on charges of driving after illegally consuming alcohol, driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of between 0.15 and 0.20, first offense, under age possession of alcohol.
In the 6600 block of Forest Hill Avenue
Deputies received on July 21 at 1:30 a.m. the report of an intoxicated male outside of Hampton Inn who was being disorderly and refusing to go inside. Dennis Doutstou, 41, of Holly Avenue in Gloucester, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
In the 7100 block of George Washington Memorial Highway
Deputies received a report on July 21 at 4:20 a.m. of an intoxicated male in the area of Route 17 and Damon's. Kyle Anthony Upton, 18, of Providence Road in Hayes, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.
In the 6800 block of Allison Lane
A resident reported on July 21 the larceny from a front yard of the residence. An Outer Banks rope hammock valued at $200 was taken sometime overnight.
