The New Bitcoin Revolution

You already know about Bitcoin, then you can probably skip this article and video.  If you have never heard of Bitcoin, then you want to stay right here and learn a lot more about what Bitcoin is.  It has the potential to change the face of the world and it is starting to really scare the big banks and entire governments that are beholden to the big banks.

We recently started researching this and Bitcoin mining.  One of the premier companies producing hardware for Bitcoin mining is presently under heavy attack from hackers as we kept getting denial of service error messages.  So it would seem that there is a lot of interest in keeping this information away from everyone.  Bitcoin has the very real potential to become a major game changer in the world as we presently know it.  Watch the video above.  It will be well worth your time.

Old Lessons In Business Correspondence

books

We are presenting a book that is now over 100 years old.  What is interesting about this book?  The wisdom contained in the pages are just as valid today as they were when the book was written.  Sure, there are some areas that are out of date, but all one has to do is apply what is relevant now as opposed to the era in which it was written and make the needed mental changes.  We think anyone in business today will find the book very useful.

Business Correspondence Vol. 3 from Chuck Thompson

You may find it useful to read the book in full screen mode.  Just click the icon at the far bottom right hand side of the Slideshare container to open into full screen.  To exit, there is a floating exit command at the top of the container.  If you do not see it, just hit the escape key on your keyboard and you will be right back here where you started.

Free downloads of this book are available from our Slideshare site.

Lemon Pudding From Scratch - Recipe of the Day

One big lemon.
Sugar, six ounces.
Sweet almonds with 3 bitter ones, six ounces.
Six eggs.
Cook the lemon in water, for which two hours will be enough. Remove dry and rub through a sieve. Before rubbing, however, taste it, because if it has a bitter taste it must be kept in cold water until it has lost that unpleasant taste. Add the[Pg 143] sugar, the almonds skinned and ground very fine and the six yolks of the eggs. Beat the whites of the eggs and add them to the mixture that will then be put in a mold and baked like all other puddings.

This is how pudding used to be made.  Not with some easy mix.

Brown a fat tender chicken in a small amount of lard by turning over and over for a few minutes. Make a dressing of two cups bread crumbs, three tablespoons pulp of sweet green peppers, one cup tomatoes, two tablespoons chopped onion, one-half cup claret, two tablespoons sugar, one-half cup sliced onions, one-half cup seeded raisins, one teaspoon white pepper, and salt to taste. Stuff chicken and bake in closed pan one hour. Make gravy of drippings by adding flour, mushroom sauce and hot water. Pour over chicken.

Here is another version.

Make something extraordinary.

Superman - Old Time Radio Shows Galore

Superman in, "The Super Sleuth."   Old time radio show.  How entertainment used to sound.  Sitting around the living room waiting for the newest radio show to begin and then listening to the show.  No pictures in a box to go along with the story.  Just sound.  This was the golden age of radio.  Today we are bringing you multiple episodes so that you are not left hanging with just one part of an entire story.  We thought about doing that and making you come back each week for the rest, but decided that there is still way to much content out there to share.

Sunday's are always special here on GVLN.  Ah, what the heck, let's have a full blown Superman Party here and go for broke on a bunch of full episodes that complete the stories.  Enjoy.  Bookmark this page so you can keep coming back for more.
