5 episodes of, "The Shadow", old time radio broadcasts. That's nearly 2 and a half hours of broadcast radio from the past. Can you stand it? Too much fun and not enough time to enjoy it all. The way entertainment used to be before the advent of TV. Instead of everyone gathering around the tube idiot box, they gathered around the audio idiot box. But the upside is that it forced one to listen to what was being said in order to get the picture of what was going on.
With radio, one has to use the TV inside your head in order to follow along with what is going on. Though it was technically before our time, it was my father who brought the joy of old time radio shows to our family entertainment mix way back when. It's fun to listen to and we seem to get a number of people who come here for these shows, so it is still entertaining to many today. Check a show out, you won't be disappointed.
