Wall Street Investors Caught In Very Revealing Nasty Rouse

"Recently, our nation's financial chieftains have been feeling a little unloved. Venture capitalists are comparing the persecution of the rich to the plight of Jews at Kristallnacht, Wall Street titans are saying that they're sick of being beaten up, and this week, a billionaire investor, Wilbur Ross, proclaimed that "the 1 percent is being picked on for political reasons."

Ross's statement seemed particularly odd, because two years ago, I met Ross at an event that might single-handedly explain why the rest of the country still hates financial tycoons -- the annual black-tie induction ceremony of a secret Wall Street fraternity called Kappa Beta Phi.

"Good evening, Exalted High Council, former Grand Swipes, Grand Swipes-in-waiting, fellow Wall Street Kappas, Kappas from the Spring Street and Montgomery Street chapters, and worthless neophytes!"

It was January 2012, and Ross, wearing a tuxedo and purple velvet moccasins embroidered with the fraternity's Greek letters, was standing at the dais of the St. Regis Hotel ballroom, welcoming a crowd of two hundred wealthy and famous Wall Street figures to the Kappa Beta Phi dinner."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Tesla Motors - The Car Company They're Scared Of And Why

"The legislative battle that pits Ohio car dealers against Tesla Motors and its company-owned stores continues.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the car dealers are once again pushing legislation that would keep Tesla from selling cars in the Buckeye State.

Senate Bill 260 would explicitly prohibit the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) from issuing car-dealer licenses to auto manufacturers.

Section 11 of the bill lists "a manufacturer... applying for license to sell or lease new motor vehicles at retail" as one of the types of organization ineligible for a dealership license.

Our Notes:  What?  Democrats don't do the same thing?  Yeah they do.  It's not party politics, it's just the way that the Constitution has been scraped down to nothing more than a piece of paper.  Throw all of the politicians out.  Who cares whether or not they are republicans or democrats.  They all need to go.

Piers Morgan Upsets Transgender Guest And That's Just The Beginning

CNN host Piers Morgan demonstrated how not to treat transgender subjects after a problematic interview with transgender activist and author Janet Mock, during which Morgan fixated on the physical aspects of Mock's identity as a trans woman and CNN included an on-screen description stating that Mock "[w]as a boy until age 18." Under fire for his handling of the interview, Morgan responded by bitterly denouncing Mock and her supporters.

Transgender activist Janet Mock appeared on the February 4 edition of Piers Morgan Live to discuss her new memoir Redefining Realness. Rather than focus on the book, however, Morgan repeatedly brought up Mock's physical characteristics and described her as a "boy" before her transition - reinforcing the common problem of journalists objectifying transgender bodies.

In an interview with BuzzFeed after her appearance, Mock took Morgan to task for trying to "sensationalize" her life in the interview. Mock objected to Morgan's focus on her physical appearance - at the beginning of the segment, he marveled that he'd never have guessed "you had ever been a boy" - as well as her sex life and physical transition."* The Young Turks hosts John Iadarola and Ana Kasparian break it down.

"A Chicago woman has sued the village of Skokie and one of its police officers, alleging she was seriously injured after being shoved headfirst into a jail cell bench after a drunken driving arrest last winter.

Cassandra Feuerstein, 47, said in a federal lawsuit that the incident required facial reconstructive surgery and the insertion of a titanium plate to "replace the bones that had been shattered."".* Cenk Uygur, Eboni K Williams, Ben Mankiewicz and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down on The Young Turks.

"Prosecutors declined to charge an Ohio State Patrol trooper with a history of domestic violence who admitted to a sexual encounter with a boy.

State trooper Ricky Vitte Jr. told his wife that he had watched a pornographic video and masturbated with the boy five years ago, according to a report issued by the Sandusky County sheriff's office.

Investigators said Vitte told his wife he was attempting to teach the boy about sex, The Sandusky Register reported."* Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (TYT University) and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

(Our Notes:)  Not once but multiple times.  This guy has not been forced out of his job by the local community yet?  The people of that area are standing for such disgusting nonsense?  Maybe this guy should divorce his wife and marry the boy, move to Colorado and order out a pizza and a joint and live in peace?  How is it this guy still has a job?  Maybe he should become that state's next governor.  Instead of prosecuting criminals we should be promoting them?  This is just insane.  At what point do we say enough is enough?

Pot Smokers Must Choose: Guns Or Pot?

"The Illinois Department of Public Health on Tuesday unveiled their proposed rules for the state's medical marijuana pilot program -- including several proposals that are receiving significant backlash from marijuana advocates.

Among the proposals are that medical marijuana users would need to pay a $150 annual fee to participate in the program by getting a special photo ID, in addition to agreeing to be fingerprinted, undergoing a criminal background check and relinquishing their right to own a gun, the Associated Press reports.

The IDPH is now accepting public comment on their proposals through Feb. 7 before it plans to submit their recommendations to state lawmakers by the end of April, followed by another public comment period, the Chicago Tribune reports. (Our Notes:)  Guess that means you can't turn your gun or riffle into a bong?  This is for medicinal use, not recreational use.  So if you own a gun, you give it to a family member instead and still get to keep the weapon, just not under your own name.  Like the state law does not have an easy work around.  No issues there.  If you do not want to give up your gun but need the marijuana for medicinal use, you can still get it the way you are getting it now anyway, street purchase.  Why is anyone getting worked up over these issues?  It's just stupid.  Smoke a doobie and forget about it.

This Tiny Sliver Has HUGE Implications For How The World Works

Our last post was the so called conservative spin on the news and here is the liberal spin on recent news.  Frankly we do not buy the studies on climate change and the information being reported here.  The Young Turks are a liberal news media outlet that is off the main stream.  Again, we do not always disagree with what they talk about, but we also do not buy into a lot of their disinformation.

  We polled 9,000 scientists where 99.9 percent said they did not believe that climate change is man made.  So where is the evidence of the Young Turks to show that their statistics are correct?  For that matter, where are ours?  We don't have any.  Why not?  We didn't conduct a poll.  We are just telling you we did.  So are they.  They are just telling you that someone conducted some poll.  Where is the evidence of the poll?  It's spin.  Anarchistic spin with no real meat.

  So where is the news story then?  It's man made so no reason to worry about it.  It's as clear as the evidence that climate change is caused by man.  Junk science and junk news.  Ya gotta love these people.   Oh yeah, 75 percent of Americans do not believe in man made climate change.  Where do they get that 60 percent do?  Again we made up our numbers to show that they are not providing any verifiable facts on their numbers.
