Secret Societies Warning From A Church Flyer - Historical

Secret Societies Church Flyer from Chuck Thompson

An historical document we pulled from the Library of Congress archives.  Thought is would be interesting to share this little piece of history.  It has to make you wonder about that little Masonic Lodge right across the street from the courthouse.  If they were up to good, then they would have every area pretty much open to the public along with all of their secret teachings.  But then if they did not have secret teachings, it would not be any form of a secret now would it?

Virginia First - Some History

English: Replica ship in port at Jamestown Set...

Virginia First:

THE name First given to the territory occupied by the present United States was Virginia. It was bestowed upon the Country by Elizabeth, greatest of English queens. The United States of America are mere words of description. They are not a name. The rightful and historic name of this great Republic is "Virginia." We must get back to it, if the Country's name is to have any real significance. II. Virginia was the First colony of Great Britain, and her successful settlement furnished the inspiration to English colonization everywhere. For it was the wise Lord Bacon who said that, "As in the arts and sciences the 'first invention' is of more consequence than all the improvements afterwards, so in kingdoms or plantations, the first foundation or planatation is of more dignity than all that followed!." III. On May 13, 1607, the pioneers brought over by the Sarah Constant, the Good Speed, and the Discovery arrived at Jamestown on James River, and Founded the Republic of the United States based on English conceptions of Justice and Liberty. The story of this little settlement is the story of a great nation expanding from small beginnings into one of more than 100,000,000 people inhabiting a land reaching

4. VIRGINIA FIRST finally from ocean to ocean and abounding in riches and power, till when the liberties of all mankind were endangered the descendants of the old Jamestown settlers did in their turn cross the ocean and helped to save the land from which their fathers came. IV. Before any other English settlement was made on this continent, democracy was born at Jamestown by the establishment of England's free institutions—Jury trial, courts for the administration of justice, popular elections in which all the "inhabitants" took part, and a representative Assembly which met at Jamestown, July 30, 1 61 9, and digested the first laws for the new commonwealth. V. There at Jamestown and on James River was the cradle of the Union—The first church, the first block- house, the first wharf, the first glass factory, the first windmill, the first iron works, the first silk worms reared, the first wheat and tobacco raised, the first peaches grown, the first brick house, the first State house, and the first free school (that of Benjamin Syms, 1635).

VI. In Virginia was the First assertion on this continent of the indissoluble connection of representation and taxation. This was done as early as 1624, and the connection was ever afterwards insisted on, till on May 29, 1765 it received a dramatic interpretation by Patrick Henry, rousing a country to resistance against the Stamp Act.

FEDERALIST Papers No. 17. The Insufficiency of the Present Confederation to Preserve the Union

HAMILTON:

To the People of the State of New York:

AN OBJECTION, of a nature different from that which has been stated and answered, in my last address, may perhaps be likewise urged against the principle of legislation for the individual citizens of America. It may be said that it would tend to render the government of the Union too powerful, and to enable it to absorb those residuary authorities, which it might be judged proper to leave with the States for local purposes. Allowing the utmost latitude to the love of power which any reasonable man can require, I confess I am at a loss to discover what temptation the persons intrusted with the administration of the general government could ever feel to divest the States of the authorities of that description. The regulation of the mere domestic police of a State appears to me to hold out slender allurements to ambition.

Commerce, finance, negotiation, and war seem to comprehend all the objects which have charms for minds governed by that passion; and all the powers necessary to those objects ought, in the first instance, to be lodged in the national depository. The administration of private justice between the citizens of the same State, the supervision of agriculture and of other concerns of a similar nature, all those things, in short, which are proper to be provided for by local legislation, can never be desirable cares of a general jurisdiction. It is therefore improbable that there should exist a disposition in the federal councils to usurp the powers with which they are connected; because the attempt to exercise those powers would be as troublesome as it would be nugatory; and the possession of them, for that reason, would contribute nothing to the dignity, to the importance, or to the splendor of the national government.

But let it be admitted, for argument's sake, that mere wantonness and lust of domination would be sufficient to beget that disposition; still it may be safely affirmed, that the sense of the constituent body of the national representatives, or, in other words, the people of the several States, would control the indulgence of so extravagant an appetite. It will always be far more easy for the State governments to encroach upon the national authorities than for the national government to encroach upon the State authorities. The proof of this proposition turns upon the greater degree of influence which the State governments if they administer their affairs with uprightness and prudence, will generally possess over the people; a circumstance which at the same time teaches us that there is an inherent and intrinsic weakness in all federal constitutions; and that too much pains cannot be taken in their organization, to give them all the force which is compatible with the principles of liberty.

The superiority of influence in favor of the particular governments would result partly from the diffusive construction of the national government, but chiefly from the nature of the objects to which the attention of the State administrations would be directed.

Sherlock Holmes - A Study In Scarlet

Sidney Paget: Sherlock Holmes
Sidney Paget: Sherlock Holmes (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Mr. Sherlock Holmes In the year 1878 I took my degree of Doctor of Medicine of the University of London, and proceeded to Netley to go through the course prescribed for sur- geons in the army. Having completed my studies there, I was duly attached to the Fifth Northum- berland Fusiliers as Assistant Surgeon. The regi- ment was stationed in India at the time, and before I could join it, the second Afghan war had bro- ken out. On landing at Bombay, I learned that my corps had advanced through the passes, and was already deep in the enemy’s country.

I followed, however, with many other officers who were in the same situation as myself, and succeeded in reach- ing Candahar in safety, where I found my regi- ment, and at once entered upon my new duties. The campaign brought honours and promotion to many, but for me it had nothing but misfortune and disaster. I was removed from my brigade and attached to the Berkshires, with whom I served at the fatal battle of Maiwand. There I was struck on the shoulder by a Jezail bullet, which shat- tered the bone and grazed the subclavian artery.

I should have fallen into the hands of the murder- ous Ghazis had it not been for the devotion and courage shown by Murray, my orderly, who threw me across a pack-horse, and succeeded in bringing me safely to the British lines. Worn with pain, and weak from the prolonged hardships which I had undergone, I was removed, with a great train of wounded sufferers, to the base hospital at Peshawar. Here I rallied, and had al- ready improved so far as to be able to walk about the wards, and even to bask a little upon the ve- randah, when I was struck down by enteric fever, that curse of our Indian possessions.

For months my life was despaired of, and when at last I came to myself and became convalescent, I was so weak and emaciated that a medical board determined that not a day should be lost in sending me back to England. I was dispatched, accordingly, in the troopship Orontes, and landed a month later on Portsmouth jetty, with my health irretrievably ru- ined, but with permission from a paternal govern- ment to spend the next nine months in attempting to improve it. I had neither kith nor kin in England, and was therefore as free as air—or as free as an income of eleven shillings and sixpence a day will permit a man to be. Under such circumstances, I natu- rally gravitated to London, that great cesspool into which all the loungers and idlers of the Empire are irresistibly drained.

How GMO Foods Will Be Eradicated - Video

From the Dr Mercola health news library.  Well worth your time to watch.  Everything we have seen about GMO foods is down and outright not in anyone's best interest.  The US and Canada are the only two areas left in the world not banning GMO foods.  Wonder why?  GMO science and technology are all created in these two areas of the world.  Also interesting.  A few years ago during a crisis in India, the US offered food supplies as part of financial aid to India.  India said that despite their dire needs, no thanks.  Wow.

Ken Cuccinelli New TV Ad Tamed Down

Ken at Shad Planking
Ken at Shad Planking (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

If there is one thing that Ken Cuccinelli is not good at, it's being in front of the cameras.  He's not at all natural and spends too much time worrying about what everyone is going to think.  This new ad at least hides that fact.  You also have to love seeing Terry McAuliffe drinking the cool aid over and over again.  Terry is one for tripping the light fantastic from what is seen of him.

At least this was not a really nasty smear ad like some of the others have been.  Mr Cuccinelli seems to be listening to people who are tired of the nasty ads.  This is about as bad as Virginian's will tolerate and still call it fair game.  Best advice for Mr Cuccinelli is to get very comfortable in front of the cameras very fast.  You have almost no time left and this is a game breaker.

It's interesting to note, Ken put this up yesterday.  Terry put up 2 yesterday.  Ken has over 4,000 hits on his new ad on YouTube.  Terry has less than 300 hits combined total on his 2 videos.  What does that say?

McAuliffe Ad Shoots McAuliffe In Face

Terry McAuliffe by David Shankbone, New York City
Terry McAuliffe by David Shankbone, New York City (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Here is a new McAuliffe Ad trying to smear Ken Cuccinelli.  Problem is it just backfired in McAuliffe's face.  The report we just put out below this one shows that climate change is indeed junk science and that Ken Cuccinelli was right.  These UVA guys must be frauds only in it for the money?  How much did McAuliffe pay these actors pretending to be UVA scientists?

Virginia does not need some tripped out phony for a governor.  Send him a message to go somewhere else.  Terry McAuliffe for Communist president somewhere in South America.  Heck, it would be worth it to pay you to leave.

New study says threat of man-made global warming greatly exaggerated

Mean surface temperature change for 1999–2008 ...

FoxNews.com

A peer-reviewed climate change study released Wednesday by the
Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change finds the threat
of man-made global warming to be not only greatly exaggerated but so
small as to be “embedded within the background variability of the
natural climate system” and not dangerous.

Armed with the new findings, Republicans on the House Energy and
Commerce Committee grilled administration environmental policy
officials about the economic consequences of its aggressive regulatory
crackdown on the fossil fuel industry.

The 1,000 page study was the work of 47 scientists and scholars
examining many of the same journals and studies that the United
Nations International Panel on Climate Change (UNIPCC) examined,
producing entirely different conclusions.

"This volume provides the scientific balance that is missing from the
overly alarmist reports from the IPCC, which are highly selective in
their review of climate science," the authors write.

The study was done under the auspices of the Heartland Institute,
which claims it "has no formal attachment to or sponsorship from any
government or governmental agency."

The Heartland Institute’s president, Joseph Bast, said of the study,
"The big issue in the global warming debate is how large is the human
impact on climate. And this report shows that it is very small, that
natural variability, the variability that's caused by natural cycles
of the sun and other factors, way outweigh anything the human impact
could have."

The report comes in advance of the expected release later this month
of a new U.N. report on climate change. Leaked drafts of that report
show surface temperature increases have been statistically
insignificant for the last 15 years, and that Antarctic sea ice is
increasing, not decreasing.

In addition, new satellite measurements of Arctic sea ice show it has
increased this year.

At the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing Wednesday,
Republicans particularly wanted to know what President Obama planned
to do to address those fossil fuel workers who've lost their jobs as a
result of administration policy.

In a major address at Georgetown University last June, Obama promised
there would be a special plan for those workers.

"So I would ask either one of you what are the special plans in the
president's action plan to help address these people who are losing
their jobs, " Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-Ky.) asked EPA Administrator Gina
McCarthy and Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz.

"I'm not familiar with the details of those plans, but I am familiar
from reading the climate action plan that the president sees this as
both a challenge and an economic opportunity," McCarthy replied.

That exchange led to a testy retort by Ralph Hall (R-Tex.). "You got a
better answer than I received from Mrs. McCarthy about a year ago
before the science committee," Hall told McCarthy. "I may have asked
you a question you didn't like and your answer was, ‘I'm not in the
business of creating jobs.’”

Committee Democrats, along with McCarthy and Moniz, set out to counter
Republican skepticism about the impact of climate change.

"The evidence is overwhelming and the science is clear," said Moniz.
"The threat from climate change is real and urgent. The basic science
behind climate change is simple. Carbon dioxide makes the earth
warmer, and we are admitting more and more of it into the atmosphere."

Moniz added that any stabilization of surface temperatures in recent
years was an indication of a "hiatus" of global warming, not an end to
global warming.

Told of Moniz's remarks, astrophysicist  Willy Soon, one of the
NIPCC's leading scientists, reacted incredulously. "So tell us when is
it going to rise again?” he asked. “This is a question that not only
me, as a scientist, is asking , but all the lay persons should begin
asking."

The Heartland Institute's Bast told Fox News that there are no climate
models used by proponents of global warming that predict a lull in
warming.

"Point to the model that predicted this hiatus," he said. "No
increase in violent weather , no increase in hurricanes. All of this
and we're still supposed to believe the models... models they picked
because they supported their political interests, not because they
represented good science."
