Hilarious & Weird Obama Images On Pakistani Viagra

"Washington gridlock isn't the only dysfunction President Obama has become the face of.

Suppliers of black-market Viagra sold in Pakistan are using the President's likeness to help sell imitations of the anti-impotence drug, allowing the man with the most difficult job in the world to, unwittingly, help others achieve a similar degree of hardness in their own lives.

Obama's face can be found on the packages of a contraband version of the erectile dysfunction medication in cities across the volatile Islamic country, according to AFP."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Can The American Flag Be A Threat? Yes, Say Judges

The 1777 Flag of the United States had 13 star...
The 1777 Flag of the United States had 13 stars of an unspecified number of points Wikipedia)

"A Northern California high school's decision to order students wearing American flag T-shirts to turn the garments inside out during a celebration of the holiday Cinco de Mayo was appropriate, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the school officials' concerns of racial violence outweighed students' freedom of expression rights. Administrators feared the American-flag shirts would enflame the passions of Latino students celebrating the Mexican holiday. Live Oak High School, in the San Jose suburb of Morgan Hill, had a history of problems between white and Latino students on that day.

The unanimous three-judge panel said past problems gave school officials sufficient and justifiable reasons for their actions. The court said schools have wide latitude in curbing certain civil rights to ensure campus safety."* Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Ben Mankiewicz and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

Our Notes:  First, the language in this broadcast is well beyond belief.  The arguments are interesting, however, fail to point out that we are in the United States.  If anyone is offended by this flag, then please, by all means, move out of this country and go somewhere else.  Anyone wearing any other flag such as the flag of the UK, Ireland, Germany, Japan, China or any other country was probably okay?  We understand the safety issues.  In the US, no other flag is raised before the US flag, period.  None.  The war for your mind rages on.

Shadow Lobbying And Why The Obama Era Is Worse Than Ever

Washington (state)
Washington (state) (Photo credits: www.roadtrafficsigns.com)

"On paper, the lobbying industry is quickly disappearing. In January, records indicated that for a third straight year, overall spending on lobbying decreased. Lobbyists themselves continue to deregister. In 2013, the number of registered lobbyists dipped to 12,281, the lowest number on file since 2002.

But experts say that lobbying isn't dying; instead, it's simply going underground. The problem, says American University professor James Thurber, who has studied congressional lobbying for more than thirty years, is that "most of what is going on in Washington is not covered" by the lobbyist-registration system. Thurber, who is currently advising the American Bar Association's lobbying-reform task force, adds that his research suggests the true number of working lobbyists is closer to 100,000.

A loophole-ridden law, poor enforcement, the development of increasingly sophisticated strategies that enlist third-party validators and create faux-grassroots campaigns, along with an Obama administration executive order that gave many in the profession a disincentive to register—all of these forces have combined to produce a near-total collapse of the system that was designed to keep tabs on federal lobbying."* Ana Kasparian breaks it down in this #NoFilter rant, part of "The Point with Ana Kasparian," featuring weekly panel discussions about the important issues of today.

"A corruption probe in a small California town has resulted in the arrests of four current and former police officers for stealing impounded cars belonging to mostly poor Latino drivers, prosecutors said on Wednesday.

Those arrested on Tuesday in the agricultural town of King City included interim Police Chief Bruce Miller and his brother Brian Miller, who owns a towing company, said Monterey County Chief Assistant District Attorney Terry Spitz.

"The victims were economically disadvantaged persons of Hispanic descent who were targeted by having their vehicles impounded, towed and stored by Miller's Tow," Monterey County District Attorney Dean Flippo said in a statement. "The vehicle owners were unable to pay the fees and the vehicles were sold or provided for free to some of the officers.""* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Katy Perry 'Dark Horse' Video & Why Muslims Want It Banned

Katy Perry Boobs SNL

"An online petition launched on Tuesday by Muslims around the world demands that Katy Perry's music video for "Dark Horse," in which a 'God' pendant is seen being burned, be removed from Youtube.

At 1:15 into the video, a man is shown wearing two pendants, one of which says God in Arabic. Perry, who plays a queen-like figure in the video, zaps the man with lightening and he disintegrates into sand; his pendant disappearing with him.

Petitioners argue that the pop diva is meant to symbolize the opposition of God, making the video blasphemous.

The video, which has a cartoonish Ancient Egypt theme, features other nonsensical aspects such as cat-human hybrid as body guards with whom Perry pole dances with, a dog which walks on its hind legs, and Perry eating spicy junk food."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

The entire video is loaded with secret society symbols and we can see even before you play it, the all seeing eye.  It's designed to be offensive on many levels.  Having anyone wanting to ban this video is giving the video tremendous upshot views.  The song is average at it's best.  The visuals beyond the secret society symbols are again, average at best.  The arguments coming in from all over the world are skyrocketing more division.  Looks like their plan is working better than they ever could have hoped for.

Facebook's 19 Billion Dollar Purchase - WhatsApp With That?

WhatsApp

"What is WhatsApp? WhatsApp is a mobile messaging service that functions as a kind of a social network. WhatsApp users can send messages to one or many recipients at the same time, and they can even share their locations.

In many ways, WhatsApp's users are just the kind of customers Facebook is looking for. They are extremely active, sending more than 600 million photos a day -- more photos than Facebook (FB, Fortune 500) users upload. A whopping 70% of WhatsApp users are active every day. By way of comparison, 62% of Facebook users are active daily.

People around the world send 19 billion WhatsApp messages per day, including 200 million voice messages and 100 million videos."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

You'll Cringe, Then You'll Get Angry ?| Pussy Riot Viciously Beaten?

Members of the all-women Russian protest group Pussy Riot said they were beaten with whips on Wednesday by Cossacks who are helping patrol Sochi during the Winter Olympics.

Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, who served prison sentences over a protest in a church against President Vladimir Putin, said they were attacked in Sochi as five band members tried to perform a song.

"Under the banner Sochi 2014, to the sound of 'Putin will teach us to love the homeland', Cossacks attacked Pussy Riot, beat us with whips and sprayed a lot of pepper gas at us," Tolokonnikova wrote on Twitter.

Video purportedly of the incident posted on a Russian television website showed Pussy Riot members pulling trademark, brightly coloured ski masks over their faces and performing a song in front of a wall decorated with the Sochi Games design."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Our Notes:  You may want to look at this video again.  It looks like it is staged.  The girls are getting hit with rubber whips.  The video has a number of cuts to create a certain feel.  Did the Russian police actually give the group a chance to disband but they refused after numerous attempts?  Didn't actually see anyone hurt other than pride.  Anyone care to show me what country this does not happen in?  Plenty of video showing it happens all over the US all the time.

Just not buying the spin on this.
