The Film That Is Sparking Middle Eastern Riots - The Fight To Control Your Mind

This above video trailer is part of what is sparking off all the riots against the US in Egypt and Libya.  We are not posting this video clip here to incite more issues, but to report on what the issues are.  The above video was posted on 9/11 by News Politics Now 3 on You Tube.  In fact You Tube now has a very large amount of trailers showing up on the site trying to claim a share of the hits.

This video above is the real trailer posted back in July that is said to be causing all of the riots now.  The film maker?  One Sam Bacile.  However, the name is fake. CBS news reports that he is not from the US at all.  The US is getting a lot of bad press because the video was produced here.  So where is this guy from?  It is said that he is an Arab Christian.  Why did he make the movie?  From two interviews he gave before he went into hiding, his family was attacked by Muslims while living in Egypt and he still has family there.

The CBS news report shows that it is a common practice for Muslims to attack Christians in various areas of the middle east.  The trailer received little attention until Bacile, (Fake name), dubbed the video in Arabic.  It was this Arabic translation that sent the shock waves throughout the middle east.

The official news here is that the video was produced to bring to light the plight of Christians being persecuted by Muslims throughout the Middle East.  Frankly, we smell a rat.  Look at the movie trailer and you see a low budget film purposely designed to poke fun at Muslim's.

This film is controversial in nature and may just explain what is really going on here.  Is it possible that the film was produced to continue the fighting in the Middle East?  To bring the US into Egypt and Libya?  These are just questions that we bring to you.  The entire matter is disturbing no matter how you look at it.

Gloucester, VA - The Fight To Control Your Mind - Zeitgeist Revisited

Zeitgeist, Zeitgeist Addendum and now Zeitgeist Moving Forward.  Films by Peter Joseph.  He is also creating new films that are about a half hour long and hosted on You Tube.  His new works contradict his earlier works in several areas.

It all boils down to Peter Joseph promoting idealistic forms of communism. On paper and in films, it all sounds good and we would not have an issue with it if it could possibly be implemented, however, history has already shown us that it is not sustainable and has serious flaws.  There are no real plans in communism, even in it's idealistic state, for incentive rewards.

The guy is obviously very bright and talented as well as very well funded.  The question is what is his real agenda?  Is he trying to get people to switch their thinking to the communist agenda?  The above film is 2 hours and 42 minutes long and we have yet to get through it all but have downloaded a copy to dig deeper into it.  CLICK HERE to go to the Zeitgeist site to see all the films by Peter Joseph.  Some of the serious flaws in communism is that it attacks religion and does not allow for it.  Peter Joseph makes constant attacks on religion throughout all of his films.  Hard for the masses to take him seriously when he is blatant about attacking religion.

http://www.ultralighttowels.com

When you use some strong research and are on the money in some areas and then attack the masses at core values, it does not matter how good of a job you do in most of your work, you lose people altogether when you attack their core beliefs and then they are just turned off by anything you even try to do in the future.

There are real wars going on for your mind and it's coming from the highest levels imaginable.  Zeitgeist is just one of the many films out there fighting for some of that control.  We have enjoyed a great deal of Peter Joseph's works, but in the end for our own opinion, we do not agree with his ultimate agenda.  We will continue to watch his productions as they are very well done, but he has lost us on the mind control front.

College is still a great investment. But it’s getting worse.- Better Look Again.

Megan McArdle has a provocative new cover story out in Newsweek arguing that college is no longer a good investment. “For an increasing number of kids,” she concludes, “the extra time and money spent pursuing a college diploma will leave them worse off than they were before they set foot on campus.” McArdle overstates the case. College is still a good deal, but it’s getting to be a worse one.
McArdle is certainly right that tuition costs have been far outpacing the rate of inflation for other goods. Here’s how the cost of college tuition and fees have increased relative to the cost of all goods, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
Prices overall have grown by a factor of about 3.6 since 1978, but college tuition has grown by a factor of 12. All told, in the 2010-11 school year, the average cost of college was an astounding $27,435, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.
But buried in McArdle’s piece is a curious admission. “Experts tend to agree that for the average student, college is still worth it today,” she writes. “But they also agree that the rapid increase in price is eating up more and more of the potential return.” So college is still worth it! The best numbers on this come from the Brookings Institution’s Hamilton Project, which calculates the return on investment for spending on college. Hamilton’s Michael Greenstone and Adam Looney estimate that the return on investment for an associate’s degree is about 20 percent, and the return for a bachelor’s is about 15 percent (mostly because bachelor’s degrees are much more expensive). That’s enormous compared to returns from the stock market, bonds, or (for you Ron Paul fans) gold:

One thing the above story lacks is the cost of paying back the student loans.  If you are unable to get a job right out of college, and have those loans to pay back, you will start getting hit with late fees and penalties that can not be bankrupted away.  Plus the continuing trend of jobs being shifted overseas is NOT going to end.
The brain drain of the US is well under way and not about to be renewed.  Is college the good investment as reported above after all?

Apple: Sorry, Those BitTorrent Apps Were Approved by Mistake

For a minute we got excited. Apple approved two BitTorrent Apps in recent weeks, suggesting that the company had lifted its ban on file-sharing applications. But today came the inevitable disappointment. Apple just informed one of the developers that it made a mistake during the approval process, and the company is about to pull his BitTorrent app from the App Store.

Just a few days ago we published an article suggesting that Apple had lifted the ban on BitTorrent apps.
This spring the company gave its blessing to a remote control app for the Transmission BitTorrent client, and this surprise approval was followed by another for a similaruTorrent app last week.
This was a fairly remarkable move since Apple previously told developers that their apps were not allowed because “this category of applications is often used for the purpose of infringing third-party rights.”
However, as it turns out the excitement was only temporary.
Craig Donnelly, developer of the Conttrol app for uTorrent, informs TorrentFreak that he received a phone call from Apple’s headquarters yesterday.
“Got a call there a little earlier from California,” Craig says. “It seems Apple are not ok with apps that have anything to do with BitTorrent.”
The nice girl on the other end of phone said that Conttrol had been approved by mistake and Apple were sorry for the inconvenience but apps of this nature are not allowed in the store,” he adds.
So that’s it. BitTorrent apps are still banned by Apple, indefinitely.
While we haven’t heard from the Transmission RPC developer, we assume that he got a similar call.
Apple’s mistake is not just a blow to the developers who worked for weeks on their apps, but also to the users who spent hard cash to buy them. Some Transmission RPC users bought the app months ago and will soon have it wiped from their iOS devices.
Craig has now decided to sell his app at a discount for as long as it lasts, but that’s still a risky investment with the pending ban. Apple told him that his app will be pulled within a few days.

Protesters attack U.S. diplomatic compounds in Egypt, Libya

By David Ariosto, CNN
updated 11:20 PM EDT, Tue September 11, 2012

Cairo (CNN) -- The United States said it was taking measures to protect its citizens worldwide after protesters angry about an online film considered offensive to Islam attacked U.S. diplomatic compounds in Libya and Egypt on Tuesday.

In Cairo, several men scaled the walls of the U.S. Embassy and tore down its American flag, according to CNN producer Mohamed Fadel Fahmy, who was on the scene.

In Libya, witnesses say members of a radical Islamist group called Ansar al-Sharia protested near the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, where NATO jets established no-fly zones last year to blunt ground attacks from then Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi.

The group then clashed with security forces in the city, blocking roads leading to the consulate, witnesses said.

A U.S. State Department officer was killed in the violence in Benghazi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement late Tuesday.

"We are heartbroken by this terrible loss," Clinton said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack."

Clinton said that she condemned the attack on the U.S. facilities "in the strongest terms" and that following Tuesday's events, the U.S. government was "working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions and American citizens worldwide."

Libya's General National Conference also condemned the attack, saying it "led to the regrettable injury and death of a number of individuals." Lawmakers said in a statement Tuesday night that they were investigating.

It was unclear whether the two attacks were coordinated, CNN national security contributor Fran Townsend said Tuesday night.

"One such breach of an embassy or consulate's walls or security on any given day would be tremendous news. ... The fact that two of them happened on the same day that is the 9/11 anniversary where Americans are remembering those that we lost, you have to ask yourself, what are American officials trying to understand about this and whether or not these two are related?" she asked.

In Egypt, police and army personnel formed defensive lines around the U.S. Embassy in an effort to prevent demonstrators from advancing, but not before the protesters affixed a black flag atop a ladder in the American compound.

The black flag, which hangs in full view from inside the complex, is adorned with white characters that read, "There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger," an emblem often used by Islamic radicals.

A volley of warning shots were fired as a large crowd gathered around the compound, although it is not clear who fired the shots.

Egyptian groups point to U.S. websites, including YouTube, that have scenes from the film. Some anti-Muslim blogs also have flagged the movie.

In a series of disjointed scenes, filmmakers depict Prophet Mohammed as a child molester, womanizer and ruthless killer.

Most of the Muslim world considers depictions of Mohammed to be blasphemous and deeply offensive.

It was not clear late Tuesday who produced the film and under what auspices.

"Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet," Clinton said. "The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation."

But she stressed that "there is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."

Embassy officials issued a warning to Americans in Egypt, telling them to avoid the demonstrations which "may gather in front of the U.S. Embassy, or Egyptian government buildings such as the People's Assembly and Ministry of Interior."

"It is unclear if large numbers will take to the streets, but clashes may occur should two opposing groups come into contact with one another," the U.S. Embassy said in a statement. "Large gatherings and non-essential travel in and around downtown and Garden City should be avoided this afternoon."

Frenzied protesters could been seen Tuesday afternoon holding up bits of a shredded American flag to television camera crews while chanting anti-U.S. slogans.

An embassy phone operator told CNN that the compound had been cleared of diplomatic personnel earlier in the day, ahead of the apparent threat, while Egyptian riot police and the army were called in.

"This is an expression of a feeling that is thought to be an insult," said Nizih El Naggary, a spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry. "But events like this are extremely deplorable. And we have to work to get things under control."

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement Tuesday, pledging to protect embassies and warning of the protests' potentially debilitating effects on the Egyptian economy.

"There are police forces at the demonstrations," El Naggary said. "They should be protecting the embassy and asking people to leave."

Several individuals claimed responsibility for organizing the demonstrations Tuesday, including Salafist leader Wesam Abdel-Wareth, who is president of Egypt's conservative Hekma television channel.

Mohamed al-Zawahiri -- the brother of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri -- added, "We called for the peaceful protest joined by different Islamic factions including the Islamicc Jihad (and the) Hazem Abu Ismael movement."

"We were surprised to see the big numbers show up, including the soccer Ultra fans," he said. "I just want to say, how would the Americans feel if films insulting leading Christian figures like the pope or historical figures like Abraham Lincoln were produced?"

He added that "the film portrays the prophet in a very ugly manner, alluding to topics like sex, which is not acceptable."

The U.S. Embassy in Cairo announced that it had canceled visa services for Wednesday.

It also said in a statement that it "condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims -- as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions."

Demonstrations elicited a mixture of reactions from the Egyptian street, where last year tens of thousands turned out in opposition to former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Here in our own country we have suppression of religious freedoms at so many levels it's not even funny.  Prayer in schools is considered outlawed.  Prayer in most business circles is not considered appropriate.  Even praying in public is highly frowned upon.   The above statement looks like a nice propaganda piece.

Moody’s To Downgrade US If No Deal To Cut Debt/GDP Ratio

WASHINGTON (MNI) – The following is the text of a statement Tuesday
by rating agency Moody’s:
Budget negotiations during the 2013 Congressional legislative
session will likely determine the direction of the US government’s Aaa
rating and negative outlook, says Moody’s Investors Service in the
report “Update of the Outlook for the US Government Debt Rating.”
If those negotiations lead to specific policies that produce a
stabilization and then downward trend in the ratio of federal debt to
GDP over the medium term, the rating will likely be affirmed and the
outlook returned to stable, says Moody’s.
If those negotiations fail to produce such policies, however,
Moody’s would expect to lower the rating, probably to Aa1.
www.cashunclaimed.com
Moody’s views the maintenance of the Aaa with a negative outlook
into 2014 as unlikely. The only scenario that would likely lead to its
temporary maintenance would be if the method adopted to achieve debt
stabilization involved a large, immediate fiscal shocksuch as would
occur if the so-called “fiscal cliff” actually materializedwhich could
lead to instability. Moody’s would then need evidence that the economy
could rebound from the shock before it would consider returning to a
stable outlook.
Moody’s notes that it is difficult to predict when during 2013
Congress will conclude negotiations that result in a budget package. The
Aaa rating, with its negative outlook, is likely to be maintained until
the outcome of those negotiations becomes clear.

GVLN - Study: Majority Of File-Sharers Are Heavily Monitored

file sharing on the iPad

LONDON (CBSDC)- A recent study found that those who participate in illegal file-sharing are not flying under the radar, but rather are closely monitored within hours of engaging in suspect activity.
The study, conducted at Birmingham University in the United Kingdom, used software created by computer scientists that emulated the file-sharing program BitTorrent and logged all interactions and connections made to it, the Korea IT Times reported.
Over the course of the three-year study, researchers reportedly saw monitoring firms tracking activity within three hours of a given download.
According to the tech website, those conducting the study were “surprised” at the diligent way in which such activity was monitored, and noted in their findings that there was no difference between frequent users and occasional downloaders.
“You don’t have to be a mass downloader. Someone who downloads a single movie will be logged as well,” research leader Dr. Tom Chothia was quoted as saying. “If the content was in the top 100 it was monitored within hours – someone will notice and it will be recorded.”
One distinction was allegedly made by monitoring firms, however – less popular content was not checked on nearly as frequently as more prominent or desirable items.
At least 10 different monitoring establishments reportedly logged downloaded content, the Korea IT Times learned.

This is part of what we have been reporting on.  What bothers me is the monitoring of those involved in file sharing and not those who are hosting the illegal sites as well as those who are contributing to the illegal sites.  Those are the real targets.  May I remind you, the torrent sites are now very highly sophisticated as we have shown in our recent series on this subject and most people are not aware or even begin to understand intellectual property rights.
We have several future stories already in the works that brings up even more disturbing questions and concerns along these lines.
