Monday Gloucester, Government Employee Reports

About 8:05 AM.  Looks like we have a winner.  Government employee seen going into McDonald's for another happy meal.

Government employee is inside McDonald's while car sits outside running.  You can see the exhaust coming out of the tailpipe in the above picture.

Good news for Gloucester officials.  It's a Middlesex county government employee we caught.

Anyone recognize this employee from Middlesex County Virginia?

Our next catch was watching one of the Sheriff's deputies drive in.  Though he was coming in like last week to make sure that no government employees were trying to go through the drive through windows or stopping in where they didn't belong into the local restaurants.  Turned out he just wanted breakfast himself and Hardee's drive through at about 8:15 AM.

Last Monday a deputy came in and sat in the parking lot for about one hour to watch the parking lot making sure no Gloucester, government employees were trying to hit the local restaurants while on the clock.  Problem was, he was facing the wrong way to catch anyone.  Unless of course he was just napping.  Don't think he was napping, but there was no one to catch last week.  We tried to wave to the deputy last week from 7-Eleven but he ignored us.

Next up?

Public Utilities coming out of WaWa.  Truck number 23.  Time is about 9:05 AM.

Widescreen shot.  He came out of the parking lot in the above picture at the far right hand side.  You can see the flowering bushes do match.

Our next one is a video of  another Public Utilities employee driving truck number 24 down the highway at a speed we estimated at about 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.  We were doing about 60 to keep up with the flow of traffic.  The video is just below.

Boy, it looks like a really bad day to be a Gloucester County, Virginia official having to answer for all of these issues.  But then again, we know they really just do not care.  It's your money they are wasting so big deal right?  Never mind that if a Gloucester, government employee may get into an accident while doing something they are not supposed to do will cause an insurance claim not to be paid.  So who would end up paying for these employees mistakes if an accident should happen while they are somewhere they are not supposed to be?  The county would pay up.  That means your tax dollars.  But again, what do they care, it's your money and we keep showing how it sure looks like they are wasting millions of dollars of it.

Now everyone needs to be as silent as possible for a few minutes.  We might just be able to hear s few more retirements coming down the road along with a few jobs opening up in a few months in some key positions.  SSHHHH!  Can you hear it?

Gloucester, VA Government Employees Monday Report

Our report for Monday morning of Gloucester, VA employees abuses and breaking local and state laws is running late this week as meetings and other media issues were forced on us to take a front seat in our attention.

So here is Monday's report.  Gloucester, VA animal control vehicle ,pictured here to the left, was seen driving through the parking lot around the Big Lot's area of the shopping center looking for someone with a camera.  He kept going through the middle of the parking lot looking at all the various vehicles.  He obviously did not see me over at the 7-Eleven.  What was really funny about the entire matter?  Animal Control officers overlooked a woman in a gold Sebring Chrysler convertible with a German Sheppard, unsecured, in the vehicle, with the top down on the vehicle.  So what?  Well in any other case we would agree, except Gloucester has an ordinance that makes this a very clear violation and one we have already argued is not a valid ordinance and have asked to have it removed from the books.  The county has refused to remove it from the books and state that the ordinance is in accordance to state law.  Then why didn't they enforce it here?  Did they violate their oath to uphold county and state laws?  Or did they violate upholding an ordinance they know is a violation?

Now what really concerns me is that his looking for me was personal and not business use of a government vehicle.  Animal Control personnel are obviously concerned with being caught violating the laws and want the reporting to stop.  How is this county business?

Our boy here, Mr Happy meals on wheels made his Monday morning appearance in the same shopping center for the same reason.  He did not stop for his morning happy meal.  He just drove through the lot looking for someone with a camera.  What is interesting to note, he was caught on both Monday morning last week and again on Friday morning last week and here this past Monday, he is still driving around using a county vehicle for his own personal use.  Officials have done nothing to stop employees from using county vehicles for personal use and even when it is reported to county officials, you still see these same people out continuing to do the same thing over and over and over again.

Only now county employees are looking for someone with a camera.  This is a very simple matter.  When county employees stop violating laws, we will stop taking pictures of them violating the laws.  If they start again, we will start again.  So the question remains.  Why can't county officials manage their employees?

Gloucester, VA Animal Control Caught Breaking The Law.......Again

Now here is the person that kicked off our watching and reporting on county employees conducting themselves in behavior that is a violation of local and state laws.  We have shown the laws on this site many times that employees are not allowed to use government vehicles for personal use.  Here we have Jeff Stillman with Animal Control using a government issued vehicle this morning at 7:40 AM to get himself breakfast while on the clock.  This is the 7-Eleven across from McDonald's up off of 17 in the courthouse area.

This is a clear violation of the public trust on so many levels.  This guy is sworn to uphold the laws and here he is violating county and state laws.  How can you trust this guy?  This is part one for today.  We have more.

Gloucester, VA Man Arrested In 7-Eleven Robbery

GLOUCESTER — A Gloucester man was arrested early Monday morning following an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in the Wicomico area.
A clerk called the Gloucester Sheriff's Office at about 12:30 a.m. Monday to say that a man armed with a handgun and with distinctive large black eye glasses and wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and gloves and with a red bandanna covering the lower portion of his face entered the store and demanded money, said Maj. Ryan Cookson. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot, Cookson said.
Within two hours investigators arrested Stephen Thomas Reaves, of the 2400 block of Winfred Road.

Store Selling Amped Replacement - Law Enforcement Officials Investigating It

The store where this video was taken is at the 7-11 location by Peace Frogs on Route 14 off of route 17 bypass.  The reporter was unfair in this video.  She knew the guy was not a doctor or any other type of professional, neither was she.  So who is she to even ask?  She is a reporter but not an attorney.  Why is she asking him legal questions?  Not so nice when the shoe is on the other foot is it.

We do not agree with the sales of synthetic drugs.  No one knows the long term effects of these new chemicals and the short term effects are already showing a lot of disastrous effects.  What no one seems to realize is that each time a chemical is identified and then outlawed, these labs are already 20 steps ahead of the game and have numerous new products to launch to take the place of the old ones just outlawed.  It's a fools game.  All the stores get lists of what is about to be outlawed and when so that they can pull the stuff off the shelves and re stock with the new legal chemicals.

The money involved here is to high for the stores to even consider closing.   Talk about a waste of time for law enforcement.  Legalize the real stuff, regulate it and tax it.  Keep job restrictions and driving restrictions in place and then there will be much less problems.

GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) - Just days after a new law went into effect banning certain synthetic substances such as spice, bath salts and Amped , 10 On Your Side wanted to know if stores had removed the substances from their shelves.

In May, 10 On Your Side told you about Amped exuberance powder. A former user said snorting Amped made her lose her mind.

"To want to actually physically kill someone I've never been that way towards my mom we've always been best friends and she didn't know who I was and I didn't know who I was," said  user who did not want to be identified.

Gloucester officials say they are investigating a new product called Blast Off which is replacing Amped. At least one person selling it says it's a party powder that will give you energy.

One store employee willing to tell us all about Blast Off claimed it's organic. He said he couldn't show us any because it was sold out.

"Blast Off would actually be a blessing to some of these people because it's sort of weaning them off that bath salt Amped thing," a Gloucester store employee selling it said.

The employee called Blast Off a 'party powder.'
