Borrowed Wives - Classic Movie

Vintage comedy movie for Friday, Borrowed Wives.  The movie starts out with a very old fashioned speed trap where the cops like to chalk mark each speeder they catch, on the billboard they hide behind.  It's a rather risque movie for the 1930 era.  Well worth the watch.

Charlie Chan At The Olympics - Classic Movie

Our classic movie feature for Friday is Charlie Chan at the Olympics.  Featuring Warner Oland as Charlie Chan.  Warner Oland was in more Charlie Chan movies than any other actor that we have been able to determine and our favorite in the part.

Ace Chinese detective Charlie Chan and his son Lee who is an Olympic swimmer at the 1936 Summer Olympics face murder, intrigue and mystery!

When an experimental plane is hijacked and its pilot murdered, the new guidance system that will allow it to fly unmanned is stolen. Charlie traces the strategically important invention to the current summer Olympic games in Berlin, where myriad spies, enemy agents, and hard-core criminals are ruthlessly pursuing it in order to sell it to another government. Charlie's son Lee, a member of the U.S. Olympic Swim Team, is on hand to help his father recover the device and solve the mystery!

Enraged Gloucester County Employee Chases Picture Taker In County Vehicle.

We received this photo from another person regarding vehicle number 63, B&G Maintenance, Gloucester County government driving a Gloucester County vehicle conducting personal business while driving a county vehicle wasting taxpayer money.  The person who sent us these pictures also told us an incredible story.

The person who was driving this vehicle saw another person taking his picture and went after that person in this truck, chasing that person around the parking lot and almost ramming that person's private vehicle.  Was this because the county employee knew he was doing something wrong?  Was he told on Friday that he is not to use a government vehicle for personal use and did so anyway and was mad because he was caught?

The other person who took this picture and witnessed that event said they immediately hid their camera as they did not want to be his next victim.  He was speeding around the parking lot in front of Tractor Supply to get the other person.

This is just insane folks.  County employees are out of control and you can only blame those in charge as they are not in charge as they are supposed to be.  What do these folks have planned for an encore?

Decomposed body found in Newport News shed

Posted on: 8:55 am, June 14, 2013, by  and updated on: 07:23am, June 15, 2013

Newport News, Va. – The badly decomposed body of a white male was found in a shed on Friday morning in Newport News.
The shed sits behind a house on 36th street just a few houses down from where Darren Turner lives.
“It’s been empty for quite some time. I mean you’ll see an older gentleman coming in and out like usually early in the morning or real late at night,” says Turner.
Turner thinks the man was homeless because he saw him climb through the window a few times.
A sign on the front door shows the house has been condemned since February and a large pile of clothes was right in front of the shed where police found the body.
“She fed him when he was hungry, helped him out every way she could,” says Tike Panags, a family friend.
Tike Panags says he’s friends with the family of the man who stayed in the house and that the man often stopped by his mom’s restaurant on 35th Street.
Police have not identified the body yet-
But Panags tells NewsChannel 3 the man’s sister called him the other day saying her brother had been missing since last Thursday.
He says she then asked him to go check on him.
“I came here yesterday about 3 o’clock and I knocked on the door, and I saw the window was broken over there and then I saw the condemned sign and no sign of him,” says Panags.
Police and forensics teams cleared the scene a little after 10 a.m. Police say the DNA tests will need to be done to identify the body because of how badly it was decomposed.
