Temporary Interuption

We have had a temporary experience with the Google glitch this weekend.  What is the Google glitch?  Each year when we have to renew our domain name registration, Google changes the way in which it is done making it harder and harder to actually make payments and reconfigure domains for sites.  Each year we seem to go down for anywhere between 1 day and one week.

  After hours of resetting, reconfiguring and restructuring this site's settings, we are now free from this Google glitch for at least 4 more years.

This site has now been on the Internet for 5 solid years and we are now entering our 6th year and expect to be up for 4 more years to come.  We apologize for any inconvenience anyone may have had for this Sunday in trying to get onto this site.  We look forward to everyone's continued support of this site and want to thank everyone for that continued support.  We greatly appreciate it.

 

The Lucy Show - Lucy Flies To London

The Lucy Show with Lucy goes to London.  The entire series of The Lucy Show entered into the public domain some time ago.  Since that is the case, we can offer free downloads on the episodes.  So if you like this show, you are free to download a copy of it.


http://www.putlocker.com/file/EDA9E76ED964A7D8  Free download link.  Click the free user option.  About 85 megs in size.  It's a nice quality video.  flv format so you will need a player that plays flv videos.  VLC is a free Media player that is the worlds best.  Free downloads from their site.  Just look them up.  There are other free flv players out there, but they have a lot of limited capabilities.  Also, Opera browser plays flv files on your computer.   So that is another option.  Windows Media player can not handle flv files.  Real Player has added flv file compatibility if you want to use that option.  Enjoy,  Plus One us on Google, tweet us, like this post on Facebook, email this post to friends.  Share this with others.

Blimps And Zeppelins - Old Photo Of The Week

Blimps and Zeppelins, once the future of air travel throughout the world, now a fond memory from the past.  We see these every now and again either on TV during a major sporting event or actually above head.  Most of the time it is the Good Year blimp that is often seen, however, we caught a few pictures here in Gloucester of the DirectTV blimp over the Gloucester Courthouse area a few years ago.

  There is talk these days of bringing back air travel via blimps as the gases used in them now is much safer than ever before.  It's a cost effective plan as opposed to jet fuel.  The issues however, are storage of the giant air machines.  The future has some interesting surprises for us all.
