Both Sides Lose On The Hill Battle

Today on Liberty's Kids, Battle of Bunker Hill.  Also, our e-book of the day is a play in five parts on the Battle of Bunker Hill.  All part of our Liberty Education Series.  Our freedom was paid for in blood.  It was a very long hard struggle for independence.  These days, most Americans have no idea what took place in our own history and our education system refuses to cover American history the way it should cover it.

  Therefore, we continue to see our freedoms taken away on a daily basis by a bunch of Benedict Arnold politicians and businesses.  The only way to show people what it is that they have and are giving up is to educate them the best way possible and hope that the education sticks.

Governor McDonnell Announces New Investment in Montgomery County

~ Rackspace Hosting to expand IT hosting operation~

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that Rackspace® Hosting, (NYSE: RAX), the open cloud company, is expanding its IT hosting operation in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Montgomery County. The project will result in a $5.5 million investment in building construction and improvements and is expected to provide capacity for more than 100 new jobs at the Rackspace facility.

            Speaking about today’s announcement, Governor McDonnell said, “Virginia remains one of the most active data markets in the country, and Rackspace’s Montgomery County cloud computing operation is thriving. The Commonwealth is a prime location for data centers, offering companies both an advanced broadband infrastructure and a highly skilled technical workforce. I look forward to Rackspace’s continued growth and the creation of new high-tech jobs for the New River Valley region.”

Through its Virginia Jobs Investment Program, the Virginia Department of Business Assistance will provide funding and services to support the company’s recruitment, training and retraining activities.

Sherlock Homles - Pearl of Death Movie

Sherlock Holmes in the Pearl of Death.  Classic Sunday Movie.

The Pearl of Death is a 1944 Sherlock Holmes film starring Basil Rathbone as Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson, the ninth of fourteen such films the pair made. The story is loosely based on Conan Doyle's short story "The Adventure of the Six Napoleons" but features some additions, such as Evelyn Ankers as an accomplice of the villain, played by Miles Mander, and Rondo Hatton as a brutal killer.
When a pearl with a sinister reputation for causing misfortune to its owners is stolen from a museum by a master criminal because of Sherlock Holmes' show-boating, he is naturally obliged to find it. Soon, he learns of a series of brutal murders that seemed to have been commited by a malevolent man mountain known only as the Creeper. Now, Holmes must deal with the seemingly overwhelming menace of this man and his boss in order to retrieve the pearl.

We are blacking out all sporting events coverage in protest of Russian Troops on US soil policing US events.  The only sound way to stop issues like this is to hurt the pockets of those who profit from it.  We will not get involved in other forms of protest.  We are just not going to support sporting events or major national events in any form or way until this is reversed.  If Russia would never tolerate US troops on it's soil, why are we tolerating Russian Troops on US Soil?  Google the story for yourself.  It's well documented.
