Sybil Ludington's 40 Mile Call To Arms

Liberty's Kids, episode 21.  Sybil Ludington.  We were not able to find an e-book with the story of Sybil Ludington, but here is a link to some of the best information out there.

http://www.historicpatterson.org/Exhibits/ExhSybilLudington.php

This e-book gives some stories of the battles in the war for independence.  It was by no means an easy feat.  What is sad, our education system does not teach this throughout all grades of schooling.  It should be mandatory.  But then again, when you have no idea what you are giving up, it becomes easy to take it from you.  Think about it.
