Battle of the Hook Pre Show.  Liberty's Kids episode number 34, Deborah Samson Soldier of the Revolution.  We are now only days away from the event of the Battle of the Hook.  If you are new to the site, the Battle of the Hook is an event that occurred just before the siege of Yorktown where America won the biggest battle against the British effectively winning the war for American Independence.  In essence, the Battle of the Hook was a part of the siege of Yorktown and it is also the location of the final surrender of Cornwallis troops to American and French soldiers.

  All of this happened in Gloucester, Virginia which is just across the river form Yorktown, Virginia.  The Battle of the Hook event is this coming weekend.  Below are directions to Gloucester from major points around the state.

We know a lot of people are very excited about the upcoming Battle of the Hook coming here to Gloucester, Virginia in less than one week now.  The area is sold out and booked solid however we do know that there are still rooms to be had in Williamsburg, Virginia which is about 30 minutes away.  Liberty's Kids has been a great video series to help lead up to the upcoming event here in Gloucester and the numbers have told us that everyone has been very much enjoying these pre shows.

Battle of the Hook pre show, Liberty's kids episode number 28, Not Yet Begun To Fight.  We are now less than 2 weeks away from what will be the biggest and best American Revolutionary War reenactment of the year, to be held in Gloucester, Virginia.  If you have not made plans to attend yet and want to attend,  and you will be planning an overnight stay, your options of where to stay are now very limited as the area is surely booked solid for miles.  Do not let that stop you.  This event will be well worth it no matter where you have to stay.
