Cop Does WHAT With A Child And Keeps Job? [Disturbing Story]

Ohio State Highway Patrol

"Prosecutors declined to charge an Ohio State Patrol trooper with a history of domestic violence who admitted to a sexual encounter with a boy.

State trooper Ricky Vitte Jr. told his wife that he had watched a pornographic video and masturbated with the boy five years ago, according to a report issued by the Sandusky County sheriff's office.

Investigators said Vitte told his wife he was attempting to teach the boy about sex, The Sandusky Register reported."* Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (TYT University) and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

(Our Notes:)  Not once but multiple times.  This guy has not been forced out of his job by the local community yet?  The people of that area are standing for such disgusting nonsense?  Maybe this guy should divorce his wife and marry the boy, move to Colorado and order out a pizza and a joint and live in peace?  How is it this guy still has a job?  Maybe he should become that state's next governor.  Instead of prosecuting criminals we should be promoting them?  This is just insane.  At what point do we say enough is enough?

Pot Smokers Must Choose: Guns Or Pot?

"The Illinois Department of Public Health on Tuesday unveiled their proposed rules for the state's medical marijuana pilot program -- including several proposals that are receiving significant backlash from marijuana advocates.

Among the proposals are that medical marijuana users would need to pay a $150 annual fee to participate in the program by getting a special photo ID, in addition to agreeing to be fingerprinted, undergoing a criminal background check and relinquishing their right to own a gun, the Associated Press reports.

The IDPH is now accepting public comment on their proposals through Feb. 7 before it plans to submit their recommendations to state lawmakers by the end of April, followed by another public comment period, the Chicago Tribune reports. Patient applications aren't expected to begin to be considered until September."* Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (TYT University) and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

(Our Notes:)  Guess that means you can't turn your gun or riffle into a bong?  This is for medicinal use, not recreational use.  So if you own a gun, you give it to a family member instead and still get to keep the weapon, just not under your own name.  Like the state law does not have an easy work around.  No issues there.  If you do not want to give up your gun but need the marijuana for medicinal use, you can still get it the way you are getting it now anyway, street purchase.  Why is anyone getting worked up over these issues?  It's just stupid.  Smoke a doobie and forget about it.

Many Animals Were Harmed In The Making Of This Show

Animal Planet (UK TV channel)

A popular Animal Network "guided reality show" allegedly chronicling animal rescue efforts actually inflicted harm on several different types of animals for the sake of the production, Mother Jones reported on Tuesday.

"It's a damn bullsh*t show," one local animal park owner said after confirming the show, Call of the Wildman, actually used a zebra from his business during an episode. "You know it, and I know it. It's just entertainment, cheap entertainment. It gives everybody a job or something to do."

The show follows star Ernie "Turtleman" Brown Jr. as he supposedly rescues animals that have made their way to homes or businesses. Brown is licensed in the state of Kentucky as a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator (NWCO). He is allowed to trap animals for pay but required to report his captures to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. A disclaimer mentioning that the show contains "some dramatizations" was added to the program on its 13th episode."* Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (TYT University) and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

Gee, Animal Planet is faking it's animal rescues?  Now isn't that interesting!  The entire channel is a fraud created for it's entertainment value?  That is just insane.  How many people bought into the fraud?  Are we seeing something here?

Governor Terry McAuliffe released the following statement today in response to the news that Norfolk philanthropist and civic leader Joshua P. Darden Jr. has passed away:

“Joshua Darden was the very embodiment of a Virginia gentleman. As a businessman, a philanthropist and a leader in higher education, he devoted his life to making his city and his Commonwealth a better place to live, all while eschewing the publicity and credit that his efforts rightly deserved.

“Dorothy’s and my thoughts and prayers are with the Darden family today. Mr. Darden’s passing is a loss for our Commonwealth, but I have no doubt that his life of quiet service to his fellow Virginians will be celebrated and emulated by generations to come.”

Governor McAuliffe Announces More Than $1 Million in Farmland Preservation Grants

~Eight Localities Receive Funds to Place Working Farmlands Under Permanent Conservation Easements~

RICHMOND – Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced the recipients of fiscal year 2014 farmland preservation grants.  Eight localities have been awarded just over $1,058,000 from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS).  Localities must use the grant monies to preserve farmland within their boundaries through local Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) programs. PDR programs compensate landowners who work with localities to preserve their land permanently by voluntarily placing a perpetual conservation easement on it.

VDACS allocated almost $149,678.46 each to the counties of Albemarle, Clarke, Fauquier, Isle of Wight, James City, and Stafford, as well as the City of Virginia BeachRappahannock County will receive an $11,000 grant.  These allocations total a little more than $1,058,000, bringing the total allocation of state matching funds to $8.68 million since 2008, when PDR funds were first distributed.

Speaking about the farmland preservation grants, Governor McAuliffe said, “Today’s announcement, which will be the first of many, highlights my administration’s goal of conserving Virginia’s working lands, an important component of land preservation.  These grants are the first step toward my administration’s goal of conserving 400,000 acres of open space and working lands across Virginia. I applaud the commitment of my predecessors and the General Assembly to land preservation, and I look forward to building on the successes they have achieved over the last eight years.”
Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Todd Haymore added, “Adequate and accessible working lands are the foundation of agriculture and forestry, Virginia’s largest industries.  Local governments receiving these funds will be able to use them alongside their dedicated local support, creating new opportunities to preserve working farmland, produce goods for purchase, create jobs, generate tax revenue, and protect our precious natural resources.  I look forward to working with Governor McAuliffe, Natural Resources Secretary Molly Ward, localities, and landowners during the next four years to preserve as many working land acres as possible”
This is the seventh time that the Commonwealth has provided state matching funds for certified local PDR programs.  Of the 22 local PDR programs in Virginia, 18 have received local funding over the past few years. To date, more than 6,700 acres on 49 farms in 12 localities have been permanently protected in part with $6 million of these funds.  Additional easements are expected to close using the remaining funds over the next two years.  Future new appropriations will help preserve additional working lands as well.

Localities interested in future rounds of grant applications for PDR matching funds should contact the Office of Farmland Preservation at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They may e-mail Andrew Sorrell, the Office of Farmland Preservation Coordinator, atandrew.sorrell@vdacs.virginia.gov or call 804.786.1906.
