Gloucester, VA County Employees Continuing Abuses - Readers Respond

Reader Comment Left On Abuses Continue Post:

"Oh and this is just the tip of the ice berg. Watch them as they all drive "slowly" back to the office at lunch time to take their "full" lunch break then return to where it is they are working.

Has anyone been watching grounds? There's a guy that drives around in a huge gas guzzler truck. Why?"

Our Comments;  Gas guzzler truck, why does a county employee drive around in one of those?  Simple, it's not their money they are wasting, it's ours.  So who cares?  We all should.  Get pictures and share them with us.  The only way to stop these abuses is to show them.  It's our money, not theirs.  It's our duty to catch them and have this nonsense stopped.  County officials are out of control at every level and they need to be held accountable.  Go to our contact us section,  There you can send emails to us with those pictures.  Together we can make a difference.  We need everyone's help to stop the pure waste of our money and the continuing tramping on of our rights and freedoms.  These are the same people who have no concern about violating their own ordinances.  They are criminals with no regard for the law, in our view, unless it violates your rights and your pocket.  You can't afford to drive a gas guzzler because you have to pay for them to do it for you instead.

Thank you for the comment.

Criminal Prosecutions

Open Letter to the Citizens of Gloucester County Virginia:

The rights of the citizens needs to be considered by the county.  They do not have the right to make nanny state laws to make us all criminals nor do they have the right to keep illegal code on the books.

The Virginia Constitution was written for us to limit the government intrusion into our lives.  Have you ever read the Constitution of the United States?  How about the Constitution of Virginia?

Article 1 Section 8.  Criminal prosecutions.  ” That in criminal prosecutions a man hath a right to demand the cause and nature of his accusation, to be confronted with the accusers and witnesses, and to call for evidence in his favor, and he shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial….”

I believe Mr Thompson has written of a case where the accusers did not come forward; they were protected by the county.  Why does the county feel they are above the law?  They do not have to present the accusers in court? And do not give the accused a chance to speak? Are they afraid of the truth? Are they afraid that their unconstitutional laws will get repealed by the court? Why do they allow the biggest “criminals with no regard for the law” “speaking for those that cannot speak” to continue to break the law in county vehicles that violate County Code that the County insist is legal in Virginia?

Why do they protect these criminals?  If you or I protected criminals we would be charged with obstruction as well as accessories after the fact; this needs to stop.  Speak to your representative tell them you are tired of the illegal county code.  Make them do their job and stand up to the Chair of the Board of Supervisors and remove all of the illegal code. The board members refusing to do this continue to break their oath of office and have no respect for the citizens of the county, to GOD, and this nation.  If we want this county to be "The Land of the Life Worth Living" then we need to hold the Supervisors, County Administrator and County Attorney accountable for their actions.

The Supervisors appear to enjoy Mr Thompson making fools of them for their not bringing County Code into compliance with the Virginia Code, Dillon Rules, and the Virginia Constitution.  Does Mr. Thompson need to have a court jester of the month determined by the antics during the board meeting (This may upset Ted the County Jester to lose his position as the full time Jester?)  Ted the county jester has a full time job ensuring the county code is in compliance with Virginia Code is this too hard for him? Do we need to replace him?  Does he do this to make the board look like fools?

Mr Christopher Hutson you need to resign your position.  You have taken the responsibility to be at the Board of Supervisors meeting on the First Tuesday of every month.  You missed the meeting in August to take your child to school?  What a poor excuse to not be at the Board meeting and representing the people of your district.  I know of no school that only has one day for checking in.  You were not willing to present yourself to the county with your position on the Bond issue for the new swamp school is not excusable.  What a joke you make of your oath of office and responsibility to the people that elected you to look out for their interest.  Like they say when the going gets tough the weak willed leave town?

I am not a lawyer and cannot give legal advice.  Our founding fathers used common sense and Christian scripture when establishing our founding documents.

“For the Common Good. “

Sincerely,
Alexander James Jay

Gloucester, VA Board of Supervisors Meeting Video September, 2013

Get Adobe Flash player

Here is the Gloucester, Virginia Board of Supervisors meeting video for September, 2013 in full.  We would like to point out one thing that the board does right.  They start their meetings out with a prayer.  We could care less what the lousy lawyers over at the ACLU say or do, this is the proper way to start meetings and we are going to give you some very interesting facts that not even the ACLU lawyers have ever seen before.

Historically speaking, by starting out public meetings with prayer, you significantly reduce to near eliminating the chance for riots.  You have set the tone for a moral and ethical way that people should conduct themselves.  Now it's not to say that those behind the board seats are going to act morally or ethically, but the tone for the meeting has been set.

Where prayer has not been allowed, there have been much higher incidences of riots and physical fighting.  It has been shown people are less likely to behave in an unethical manner when a minister is around.  Police, no one cares.  They will fight with the police as fast as with each other.  No one is going to start a fight with a minister though unless that minister is and has shown to be unethical himself.  You have a better chance of maintaining order with a minister in the chambers than with riot police.

Now a question should be asked, is the ACLU aware of this?  If they are, they are without question unethical and need to be shut down.  If they are not, then this information needs to be shown to them and argued to shut them up on this issue.  Sorry folks, we are taking back our country, you can leave if you do not like it.

Some other interesting historical facts.  Back in the days of our founding fathers, late 18th century, (That's 1770's and 1780's for those who have no clue), religion was compulsory while education was voluntary.  Today education is compulsory while religion is voluntary.  Today ethics is highly questioned throughout the world, while there is no question that the quality of education is in the toilet.  There are more illiterate adults now than ever before in history percentage wise.  Anyone understand the message here?

Now of course we keep beating on county officials for what they are doing wrong, in our view, but we must also point out what they are doing right and support those areas and at any cost where need be.  We fully support this area of opening each and every board meeting with prayer and should anyone come along to attack it, we will be there to fight that attack to the fullest extent.

"The Land of the Life Worth Living"

Open Letter to the Citizens of Gloucester County Virginia

I got the title from the Board of Supervisors home page.  Is this for all of the citizens of the county or a few that are the friends of the chair of the Board of Supervisors?  Based on the nanny laws the chair has overseen while she has been on the board it is hard to believe this is"The Land of the Life Worth Living"

The Virginia Constitution was written for us to limit the government intrusion into our lives.  Have you ever read the Constitution of the United States?  How about the Constitution of Virginia?

Mr. Wilmot I have watched many of the Board of Supervisors meetings from afar. You are the smartest person in the front of the room. Do you get tired of being the court jester in these meetings and in your daily work for the county? (I do find you entertaining but have a hard time taking you seriously) You as an attorney, agent of the court, and government employee know you can be fired for lying and doing things that are against the law. The Nuremberg trials showed a person following orders that are illegal will still be held accountable. You as a responsible county employee and lawyer should be setting the example and letting the county know what is and is not acceptable. I understand the animal code Mr. Thompson provided to the county last month is legal, wink wink nod nod by your own words. No one is able to tell you did not do a good job defending that illegal code. Also, I have heard that you have personally thrown these charges out in court as being an illegal law on multiple cases.

Based on your input that is why Mr. Thompson chose to show how the county is violating the air conditioning animal control code rather than show that it is not legal based on Virginia Code, Dillon Rules, and the Virginia Constitution.  As long as there are illegal codes in the Gloucester County Code they will be used to show how the county leadership are in violation of their oath of office that makes you legally responsible for your actions.  For the non lawyers the individuals breaking their oath of office can be made to personally pay for the results, not the county taxpayers.  Has anyone been charged with these illegal animal control laws that you have not dropped the charges in court?

I find it interesting that in the August Agenda the Board of Supervisors planned to recognize the retirement of the Chief of Animal Control but in the September Meeting they just learned about it?  Does the Board have old timer’s disease?  Or do they think we are fools?

It is interesting to learn from one of Mr. Thompson’s blogs that a county attorney owns the property across the road from the new swamp middle school.

Anyone that animal control has picked up your animal and made you pay to get it back print a copy of the blog on Monday about Animal Control violates the law plus information on your specific animal, go to the magistrate and get them to bring charges against animal control, and county management.  All the charges that can be brought against them are in the story.  Because Animal Control Officers are held to higher standards for animal treatment, the person or persons will probably be suspended without pay until after the trial.  Also, do your best to delay the trial as long as possible.  We need to hold our Supervisors and county management to the same standards they want us to follow.

I am not a lawyer and cannot give legal advice.  Our founding fathers used common sense and Christian scripture when establishing our founding documents.

“For the Common Good. “

Sincerely,
Alexander James Jay

P.S.  Ms. Theberge was the victory dance in the chair after the meeting because you had everyone in the room mad at each other or because you got what you wanted?  You are showing leadership style of a dictatorship not a Democratic Republic.  This is the kind of actions that get you reelected!  Oh, that right you go home in December. Where was the other pastor that needed to pray for you?  The Board needs a minimum of two.

Connecting The Dots of Gloucester Officials Corruption?

Yesterday we showed you how the shell game is played and how it has been played against the taxpayers of the county.  Today we are going to connect some dots that we have shown before.  Above is a screen shot that shows the board of directors for the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust and board members.  Here is what you want to look at.  Louise Theberge is a board member.  Same Louise Theberge that is the chairperson for the Gloucester County, Virginia Board of Supervisors.  Now note who the chairman is for the board of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust.  Breckenridge Ingles.  Guess who owns over one thousand acres of land, located across from the new school being built on a swamp.  If you guessed Breckinridge Ingles, you would be correct.

Is this just amazing coincidence?  It has to be.  The below information comes from the Gloucester County government site, land values and information.

That is over one thousand acres of land with a value of over four million dollars.  And now it is across from the new swamp school.  Anyone think this is now a good time to start clearing the land and preparing it for site construction of homes and maybe even some commercial properties?  Was not a great location if the school were to be built in it's old location.  But that is all just coincidence now isn't it?  Of course it is.  All of these dots being connected are just mere coincidence.  Louise Theberge being a board member of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust is just mere coincidence.

The joint projects between Gloucester County government and the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust are just mere coincidence.  You also have to wonder if it is a fair question to ask if the members of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors have an inside financial incentive to build the new school on the swamp?  Shell games and information that no one else will dare cover, right here on Gloucester, Virginia Links and News.  You have to ask a lot of questions about what is really going on around you.

Gloucester, VA Officials Dupe Taxpayers With Simple Shell Game Trick

Get Adobe Flash player

The first video shows Gloucester, Virginia officials discussing the new school bond issues.  The second video shows what they have really done.  Think we are kidding?

Let's expose the trick they pulled on everyone last night.

Issue:  School board needs money to pay for school building repairs.  Sounds legitimate right?

Trick: school board had the money for those repairs, spent the money on closing down a school they said we didn't need and took the money for needed repairs and spent it on converting school to new office space for themselves. Now they need that money back for repairs to existing schools. It's like taking money needed for a home repair and spending it on a cool Rolls Royce and still needing the money for the home repairs.

You no longer have the money for the repairs, but you still need the money for repairs, but hey, at least you have one of the coolest cars on the road.
Issue: School board needs money to build new school.
Trick:  Again, they closed another school they said we didn't need and turned it into office space they didn't need.  Talk was already brought up of potentially closing yet another school.  But we still need this new school in the swamp.

Issue:   New school being built on swamp.

Trick:  Local attorney owns over one thousand acres of land across the street from where new school is to be built.  Bet he figures that now is a ripe time to start developing that one thousand acres across from school for new housing in prime location that was not so prime before.

Sound reason to not build school in old location, not a benefit to local attorney with deep pockets and plenty of influence. The shell game has been well played and now the taxpayer gets to foot the bill because you did not keep your eye on the pea.  It's not about the children and their education as the officials would have you think.

That's the trick.  It's about growing government, growing personal positions within government, and charging the taxpayers for the growth and playing to special interests.  And now you know.
