Gloucester County School Board allows illegal use of government vehicles?

Open Letter to the Citizens of Gloucester County Virginia

The Virginia Constitution was written for us to limit the government intrusion into our lives.  Have you ever read the Constitution of the United States?  How about the Constitution of Virginia? How about the County Code?

"The Land of the Life Worth Living" for everyone in the county.

I read with great interest The Kiser’s email to Mr. Thompson.  How is it The Kiser's understanding of State Code, County Ordinance, and School Board Policy is so different than that of a reasonable person?  Does The Kiser believe the school system does not have to live to the same rules as the rest of us?  Is his education deficient?  The employee in question has been seen numerous days, after the start of the business day going to McD and 7-11.  Not a midday meal, but clock in the morning and then go out to eat.  How do I get a position like this?  If it's not a job but a position (paid not to work but to eat)!  Does the employee also have an expense account that he charges the meals as a government expense?  Maybe The Kiser can explain how it saves county money for employees to come to work and go out to eat breakfast while on the clock in a government vehicle?  Maybe the employee could eat before going to work like the rest of us have to do?  Maybe the employee using the vehicle to go out to eat rather than work is the reason the vehicle is high mileage?  It definitely save's personal time but not sure of government time?  Is the efficiency created by the planning Director of facilities to schedule around meal breaks?  Based on Mr. Thompson’s observations it is occasionally that the van is not seen stopping for food in the morning?

Does this explain why the Gloucester School System is in the bad shape it is in?  Not able to meet Virginia Standards and losing accreditation?  The Kiser does not understand the requirements? Or he marches to his own rules?

Maybe The Kiser should be fired for failing to meet his oath of office and not allowed to retire this summer?  If the School Board is allowing this to continue maybe they need to be removed for failing to meet their oath of office?

Based on stories on Mr. Thompson’s Blog and this email the county will be a lot better off without The Kiser.

Gloucester County Board of Supervisors: you are looking to reduce costs and scale back the budget.  I think you should take a look at the School Board Budget since they do not seem to care if employees use vehicles for personal use.

Bring back the rule of legal laws and responsible budgets and make this "The Land of the Life Worth Living" for everyone in the county.

I am not a lawyer and cannot give legal advice.  Our founding fathers used common sense and Christian scripture when establishing our founding documents.

“For the Common Good. “

Sincerely,
Alexander James Jay

Gloucester, VA Officials Circumvent Discovery Throughout The County

Bad news for Gloucester County, Virginia officials.  Starting today, we are now publishing every private email address that the county uses to circumvent discovery in communications with each other.

What does that mean?  We have discovered that a great deal of Gloucester County, Virginia officials and managers are using private email addresses in their communications that concern public county business.  They are hiding information from public discovery by doing this.  This has been an issue nationwide with politicians getting caught and busted for this exact activity.  We have no issues showing you who is doing this within the county as we continue to collect a list of those using a system that should never be done.  Even if these people have nothing to hide, they are circumventing discovery which means that they are hiding communications.  That is reason to believe they are not up and up in their dealings and are very suspect of wrong doing beyond circumventing discovery.

jjorth@vims.edu   James J Orth.  Gloucester Board of Supervisors.

c_records@yahoo.com  Charles Records, Gloucester School Board Member.
crecords@zandler-dev.com  Another email address for Charles Records above.

kiserben@gmail.com  Ben Kiser, The Kiser, Gloucester Superintendent of Schools.

aburruss2@cox.net  Ann Burruss, Gloucester Schools.

bjduncan12@cox.net  Betty Jane Duncan - Gloucester Schools?

hookc@cox.net  Carla Hook, Gloucester School Board member.

kevinsmith914@gmail.com  Kevin Smith,
rev.kev2@verizon.net  Same as above.  2 email addresses.

kimberlyehensley@gmail.com  Kimberly Hensley, Gloucester County Schools

georgeburak@cox.net  - Randy Burak, Gloucester County Schools

troyandersengp@cox.net  Troy Anderson, Gloucester School Board

This is just our first list of people in Gloucester County, Virginia government who are circumventing discovery by using personal emails in place of county emails to conduct county business.  We have the original emails on file where these addresses came from.

Now all of these people know better.  Heck, one is even an attorney who, without question, knows better.  Now in fairness, JJ Orth, at the top of the list, it's his VIMS email address being used which is still subject to a certain degree of scrutiny for public view.  Each one of these people would seem to be in clear violation to the Freedom of Information act.  You have to ask what it is they are hiding.  Each one of these people should be made to expose everything in their personal email accounts since they have used these accounts for public business.  Do you think any of them will willingly do so?  We don't think so either.  More are coming.

Gloucester, VA Public Schools Trending Downwards Fast

Now here is information you are not likely to find in any of the other news sources in Gloucester.  Recent trends show that Gloucester Public Schools are on a downward spiral in many areas and our children are not getting the education they deserve yet our costs are going up, up, up.

The following information has just been shared with us and we want to share it with all of you.

and fill in the form for “School Division Report Card” you will find the Gloucester County Public School System did not meet all Federal Annual Measurable Objectives for the 2012-2013 school year.  While you are there be sure to look near the bottom of the page where you will find the School Safety statistics.  You will quickly see the bad trend.

If you visit the same web address and fill in the form forGloucester High School you will find that GHS was “Accredited with Warning”.

The Gloucester County Public School System is once again demonstrating its need for more effective administration and management.  During the October 8, 2013 School Board Meeting the board was given a presentation of the federal and state yearly public school system assessment results.  School system administrators focused more on rendering their negative opinions about the assessment criteria and providing excuses for the deficient areas than they spent on discussing a plan of action and ways to meet and exceed the standards.  Most board members demonstrated a lack of knowledge about the evaluation systems that monitor the quality of education being provided to Gloucester County students. The presentation did not provide the Safety portion of the assessment results which reflects a substantial increase in disciplinary infractions during the 2012-2013 school year."

An increase in disciplinary infractions?  Yet The Kiser has recently stated that these kinds of issues just do not happen at our local schools where a student recently committed suicide due to being excessively bullied?  Take the time to look at those reports.  They are very revealing.
