Rebels and Redcoats - Anti American Propaganda Films

For anyone in the US that has viewed this garbage, we want to point out that this series of propaganda films, done by a so called British historian, is highly bloated opinions with no basis in facts to support his claims in many areas of the films and is seriously lacking in facts in other areas to create a very biased opinionated sentiment.  It's anti American.  It's a violation of American History and designed to sway the opinions of anyone who watches it against our founding fathers.

This site has been dedicated to showing actual American History.  Look through our pages.  No bloated opinions.  Just the straight history and we try to present it in the most entertaining way to teach everyone what our nations history really is and why it's important.

This is a four part series and we were looking forward to viewing the entire series.  We watched the first 20 minutes and were appalled.  It was evident within the first 5 minuets that it was nothing but a lot of bloated opinion based on some historical accounts but missing others.  We just could not stomach anything beyond that first 20 minutes of the first in a four part series.

Richard Holmes was selected to narrate and walk everyone through this so called documentary, (propaganda piece).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Holmes_(military_historian)
Mr Holmes is a British Patriot.  Not an American Patriot.  We Americans should trust his views why?  Again, he failed to cover critical American facts instead bypassing them for short sighted opinions on American history.  It's British romantic fantasy based on some American historical facts but excluding other historical facts to create bloated opinions.

We believe in the right to free speech, but we also believe in the right of the people to know and understand the truth.

Ready, aim, fire.  Striking back at the tyranny.  Take your propaganda back to Britain and keep it there.

Gloucester, VA Government, Can We Trust Them?

Local County Government:

Can we trust our local leaders?  From everything we have been seeing over the past few years, it's become clear that trust is a very serious issue with local county government.

From government employees who conduct personal business while on the clock as reported to us, to a county attorney who tells local residents in his own office he is not an attorney, as reported to us.  From a Board of Supervisor who sits on outside public boards that make decisions that will affect the county and then votes in favor of those decisions later in public meetings, county employees who have private businesses in conflict with their county jobs, to ordinances passed and then later changed in violation of state laws?

County employees seen using county garages during non business hours with the appearance that they are doing something very much in violation of their jobs?  Fake search warrants issued against local residents to altered 911 recordings producing false evidence against local residents?

Harassment of local residents by animal control officers?  We have reported on all of these issues and more.  Wild spending and blatant disregard for state laws?  We see it every week in our views.

This is a screen shot of an altered voice recording used as evidence in a court case against a local citizen.  From what we were able to determine, someone in the county purposely altered a voice recording?  It has all the markings of such from our view.  Why the voice recording was even allowed in as evidence is unknown as federal courts do not allow such evidence unless it can be clearly shown not to be altered.

We have posted videos, audio, screen shots, meta data, documents and more all showing that local officials have no regard for local residents they have been sworn to protect and serve.  Violations to the public trust exist everywhere from what we see.

Yet Louise Theberge continues to whine about losing the race for her seat.  Wondering why?   Gloucester politics look to much like Federal politics.  Dirty and not in the best interest of the people.

https://sites.google.com/site/gloucestervanews/  Here is a host of issues that Gloucester County officials really want you to forget.  Look it over closely.  The information on this site makes county officials extremely uncomfortable.  You have to ask why.  Then you have to ask if you trust local officials afterwards.

Please note:  We are not saying that everyone in county government are bad.  There are a number of truly great and highly dedicated employees that are worth far more than they make.  The problem lies in the leadership in our view.

Click on the picture above and open it in our lightbox to view a larger version of this.  Exclusive Sunday comic strip bonus this week.

The Shadow in "The Shadow Strikes", Classic Movie

The Shadow in, "The Shadow Strikes", classic movie for Sunday.  Old time radio, golden age comic and classic movie.  Shows you how popular some characters were back in the day.  About the only thing we have not posted is one of the Pulp fiction stories of the Shadow.  We can save that for a future date however.  If you are a fan of the Shadow, then this is a blast from the past for you.

What is a lot of fun to watch is the cars, the clothing, the furniture and the architecture.  It's amazing to see what life used to look like compared to today.  It does not look like we have moved forward in many areas, but that is yet another article to be considered for the near future.

The Shadow - Old Time Radio Shows

Old time radio shows can be great fun.  They take the mind to a different realm creating images in the mind without sight.  It's a great way to once again learn how to listen.  Old fashion entertainment before TV.  Everyone used to gather around the radio to hear the latest stories.  Radio programming worked the same way as TV programming presently works with new shows released on certain days at certain times.  Where do you think TV got it's origins?

The Shadow.  One of the most popular old time radio series ever.  Even more so after radio shows ended.  The Shadow also was popular in comics, movies and pulp fiction story magazines of the past.  Enjoy these episodes.  Old time radio, every Sunday right here on GVLN.

Orson Welles as The Shadow. A predecessor in the role delivered the show's intro, with its famous catchphrase, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows ...." According to historian Frank Brady, Welles's "voice as the 'invisible' Shadow was perfect." The intro, however, also called for a sinister chuckle; Welles's effort "seemed more an adolescent giggle than a terrifying threat." Brady (1989), p. 78. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
