Microsoft Urges Internet Explorer Users to Protect Against Targeted Attacks

On Monday night, Microsoft urged users of Internet Explorer 9 and earlier versions to deploy a toolkit that could help protect against a series of attacks hitting its system.

It was revealed earlier in the day by security forum Rapid7 that Internet Explorer was hit with a new zero-day exploit, which takes advantage of a security hole within websites to carry out attacks. This means that anyone using IE to visit a website that has malicious links could have their computer compromised.

The exploit is said to affect Windows XP, Vista and 7 systems.

“We have received reports of only a small number of targeted attacks and are working to develop a security update to address this issue,” Microsoft said in a company blog.

The company said consumers using IE are protected when using workarounds and mitigations, such as deploying its Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET). This tookit aims to protect against this issue and should not affect usability of websites.

Microsoft said users should also set their Internet and local intranet security zone settings to “high” to block ActiveX Controls and Active Scripting.

Courts Want $9,250 Per Pirated Song, But BMG Will Settle For $20

With the “six strikes” initiative on it’s way to the United States – where ISPs will begin warning Internet users illegally sharing copyrighted material, and then restricting their Internet access after six warnings – major labels and publishers seem to be moving closer to what they feel will be an effective anti-piracy campaign. However, the people over at BMG Rights Management don’t seem to be completely satisfied and have begun seeking out settlementsagainst file sharers – not in court for thousands of dollars, but rather for just $20 online.

BMG is the fourth-largest music publisher in the world (based on revenue) and is home to artists the likes of Bruno Mars, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, John Legend, Outcast, will.i.am, MGMT and several others. The company does not seem to feel that the ‘education’ approach to the “six strikes” initiative is enough for their clients and are now attempting to generate revenues from alleged file sharers, as reported by TorrentFreak.

Yet you can stream in radio through the Internet and record any song you want from that stream.  You can easily record regular radio as well.  Any song you want.  However, you are infringing on the rights of the copyright HOLDERS.  You can copy TV programs to your hard drive on your computer or TiVo, VHS and even DVD.  But again, not legally?  Wait, you can do these things but you can not download these things even though everyone and their brother is hosting them all over the Internet.  The Internet police are now watching everyone and everything we all do.  

  It is illegal to circumvent copyright protection in the United States yet circumvention of copyrights for CD's software and films are sold everywhere such as Wal Mart, Target, Best Buy, Staples, Office Max, Office Depot and more.  Everyone sells the circumvention technology that is illegal to use in the US.  Is anyone confused yet?  What messages are we all being told every day?  You can not do this and here is how you do it and where to buy it.  By the way, if we catch you there is a fine plus jail time.  But no one is watching as we watch you follow our instructions on what to do that you are not doing.  Okay?  Huh?  No one can get this story straight.

Are Hospitals Less Safe Than We Think?

Bad doctors. Prescription errors. Surgical slips. Medical mistakes injure or kill hundreds of thousands of Americans every year. Why patients are kept in the dark.

When I was a medical student, modern medicine began to seem as dangerous and dishonest as it was miraculous and precise. The defining moment came when I saw a sweet old lady I cared about die after a procedure she didn’t need and didn’t want.

I had been assigned to follow Ms. Banks, whose scans revealed advanced ovarian cancer. Despite the poor prognosis, the conventional treatment is major surgery to remove the uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. But I got to know Ms. Banks, and she told me that she just wanted to spend time with her family and do a few more things before she died. I explained to her that she could be passing up a potential, albeit unlikely, cure; then at the morning staff meeting I tried to communicate her wishes to forgo both a biopsy and treatment. I was shredded up, down, and sideways.

The drive for the doctors to do a biopsy was like a train no one could stop. Eventually, by overstating the benefits and understating the risks, the doctors convinced Ms. Banks to undergo the biopsy to confirm her diagnosis. Then, during the procedure, the biopsy needle accidentally punctured a major blood vessel, which resulted in an added six-week stay in the hospital, marked by blood transfusions, multiple CAT scans, and malnutrition, since most of the time she was not able to eat. Those six hellish weeks turned out to be six of her last nine on earth. Despite the apparent problems with her care, information about her preventable complication and prolonged hospitalization were never presented in our staff meeting or reviewed internally in the same way that other industries learn from their bad outcomes. I realized that hospitals did not have to disclose their outcomes to anyone, even when they were much worse than the national average. In fact, when I explained to the head attending surgeon what happened and recounted Ms. Banks’s objections to the biopsy, I was told that sometimes patients don’t know what they want and we need to decide for them.

A host of new studies examining the current state of health care indicates that approximately one in every five medications, tests, and procedures is likely unnecessary. What other industry misses the mark that often? Others put that number even higher. Harvey Fineberg, M.D., president of the Institute of Medicine and former dean of the Harvard School of Public Health, has said that between 30 percent and 40 percent of our entire health-care expenditure is paying for fraud and unnecessary treatment. While patients are encouraged to think that the health-care system is competent and wise, it’s actually more like the Wild West. The shocking truth is that some prestigious hospitals participating in a national collaborative to measure surgical complications have four to five times more complications as other hospitals. And even within good hospitals, there are pockets of poorly performing services.

This is nothing new.  Entire books have been written on this subject now for the past two decades that we are aware of.  Several books even place modern medicine as being the number one killer in the US.  On the other side of that coin, I would not be alive today if not for modern surgical techniques.  It's a double edge sword.

Will Science Someday Rule Out the Possibility of God?

Over the past few centuries, science can be said to have gradually chipped away at the traditional grounds for believing in God. Much of what once seemed mysterious — the existence of humanity, the life-bearing perfection of Earth, the workings of the universe — can now be explained by biology, astronomy, physics and other domains of science. 

Although cosmic mysteries remain, Sean Carroll, a theoretical cosmologist at the California Institute ofTechnology, says there's good reason to think science will ultimately arrive at a complete understanding of the universe that leaves no grounds for God whatsoever.

Carroll argues that God's sphere of influence has shrunk drastically in modern times, as physics and cosmology have expanded in their ability to explain the origin and evolution of the universe. "As we learn more about the universe, there's less and less need to look outside it for help," he told Life's Little Mysteries.

He thinks the sphere of supernatural influence will eventually shrink to nil. But could science really eventually explain everything?

Beginning of time

Gobs of evidence have been collected in favor of the Big Bang model of cosmology, or the notion that the universe expanded from a hot, infinitely dense state to its current cooler, more expansive state over the course of 13.7 billion years. Cosmologists can model what happened from 10^-43 seconds after the Big Bang until now, but the split-second before that remains murky. Some theologians have tried to equate the moment of the Big Bang with the description of the creation of the world found in the Bible and other religious texts; they argue that something — i.e., God — must have initiated the explosive 

event.




However, in Carroll's opinion, progress in cosmology will eventually eliminate any any perceived need for a Big Bang trigger-puller.
As he explained in a recent article in the "Blackwell Companion to Science and Christianity" (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012), a foremost goal of modern physics is to formulate a workingtheory that describes the entire universe, from subatomic to astronomical scales, within a single framework. Such a theory, called "quantum gravity," will necessarily account for what happened at the moment of the Big Bang. Some versions of quantum gravity theory that have been proposed by cosmologists predict that the Big Bang, rather than being the starting point of time, was just "a transitional stage in an eternal universe," in Carroll's words. For example, one model holds that the universe acts like a balloon that inflates and deflates over and over under its own steam. If, in fact, time had no beginning, this shuts the book on Genesis. What Mitt Romney Does Not Want You To See

First off in Mitt Romney's defense, he has to speak to his target audience in a way that he knows they are going to respond.  This is a real press nightmare for Mitt Romney because most people are not going to understand this and the press will play it in a very negative way and that is a shame.

  On the other side of the coin, if you ask the people on Welfare if they want to be on welfare, most would tell you that they would rather work a meaningful job for a living wage.  Most employers no longer pay a living wage to the vast majority of the work force.  And that issue continues to grow by the day.  More jobs leave this country everyday and there are no new jobs coming in to replace them.   So what are people supposed to do, bend over and just die because they can not work?

  Is Mitt supposed to address people he is trying to get money from by accusing them of not paying a living wage to their employees and telling them they need to come up with more money for the work force?  Not a good plan.  Will not raise a dime if he were to do that.  He would not gain a penny from backers he is trying to build.




  Want some more disturbing news about this video?  It's been around for months waiting in the closet for the right opportunity to attack Romney's campaign.  this video was from a fund raiser that occurred months ago and was just posted on Youtube yesterday, September 17th, 2012.  Why was this video held back for so long from the public?  As usual from what we have been showing you, throw some truth at people then throw some disinformation next to make your story believable.



More video that they detached from the first section.  How much of the video on the entire picture are we missing?  Are sections just cut out to make Mitt look bad?  Of course they are.  Is there more to this video that we should see but probably never will?  Most likely.

Gloucester, VA - The Thrive Movement and the Fight To Control your Mind

This is the official Thrive video.  The launch of the Thrive Movement.  The video is 2 hours and 12 minutes long.  It's loaded with some very interesting information but it turns a lot of people off early in the viewing due to it's alien visitation inputs. The main web site is http://www.thrivemovement.com/ and the site is loaded with a good deal of information.  High budget video and web site one has to wonder what the real agenda is here.

  We first visited the web site a few weeks ago after watching the video.  The site was not at all functional.  Only the video was hosted and the main page had a donation and sales area.  We thought it strange since this movement has been around for almost a year now.  Every page we visited was the same as the home page and none of the links worked.  We checked this through multiple browsers and computers as well as a tablet.  Same issues each time for several days.

  We decided to dig deeper into the matter and found the Thrive Movement on Facebook where we made contacts with some of the people there.  We were told that they had no other reports of site problems or other issues.  Then again they may have told 10,000 other people the same story.  Your always the only one who is having this issue.

  To further the issues with the alien agenda in the film, Foster Gamble of the Proctor and Gamble fortune would have you believe that crop circles are placed here by aliens as a message to us regarding free energy.  (Please see the film).  Further research on crop circles simply does not support this.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crop_circle  This link is to a Wiki site that covers crop circles in more detail.

  The more we delve into the Thrive Movement and follow the links, the more we see well funded sites that are professionally laid out and not part of any form of grass roots movement.

Overall, we liked the video and it made a lot of sense in many areas but leaves other areas wide open for questions and the more we question the Thrive Movement, the more we keep finding more to question.  Yes Thrive is bringing up some very valid points in their video and on their site, but there is some serious money behind the entire movement.  One of the areas on the thrive Movement site right now that is being heavily promoted is Chemtrails.  Chemical trails that we all see nearly every day up in the sky being spread by planes.  Yes Chem Trails are real, however, none of the original sites or early reported coverage is used on the Thrive site.  Only newer sites and videos are used through Thrive.  Sort of like an exclusive club where only members are allowed.

  http://thrivedebunked.wordpress.com/2012/04/20/gambles-fire-back-accusing-thrive-critics-of-disinformation-campaign/  This link is to a site that argues that the Thrive Movement is loaded with a ton of garbage.  We have found some flaws in the arguments against Thrive, however, we also found some valid points as well.  The Thrive Movement site has Google Analytics loaded onto it to track how much time you spend on the site and what you are looking at.  We use the same technology on this site as well as it gives us somewhat of an edge on the direction of where we need to go.




  How the fight to control your mind works.  You give people a certain amount of truth and douse it with a certain amount of fabrication to make the entire story believable.  This technique has been used for centuries because it is extremely effective.  With advanced communications these days, the techniques have been brought to a much higher level than at any other time in history.  The evening news uses it as does the White house and every government body on the face of the earth.  It has become impossible to separate the truth from the fabrications now as there are tons of documented evidence to support both the truth and the fabrications.

  As we continue to grow the level of information, tons if disinformation will follow.  Is the Thrive Movement the capitalist answer to Zeitgeist?  The two look a lot alike.  In many areas we respect the work of the Thrive Movement and agree with some of it's messages.  In other areas we highly question the movement and it's works.  The more we dig through Thrive, the more uneasy we are about it.  It's up to each one of us to determine what we believe and what we think as well as support.  You can support the Baptist church but will be criticized by the Catholics for that choice.  You can support the Republican party but will be criticized by the Democrats and other parties.  We are all individuals with different experiences that help to determine our beliefs.  But are those beliefs the right ones?  That's part of the human experience.

   On a last word, keep in mind that people do not spend a great deal of money without expecting to receive some kind of return.  The Thrive Movement is well financed which means that they have an agenda somewhere.  They are not spending all this money because they think it is the right humanitarian thing to do.  Somehow, somewhere, they expect to get some kind of return on this investment.

Democrats and Republicans Should Seriously Consider Mitt Romney As Next President

We are taking a different approach to discussing candidates in this upcoming election.  We are not going to sling any mud.  You can watch all the mud slinging and fighting on any TV channel, watch it all day long here on the Internet, listen to it on the radio or read about it in the newspapers or magazines.  Frankly, it's all very sickening to us.  Stick to the issues and bring forth the best of each candidate and stop the slimy backstabbing.

  We are not against Barack Obama in any way.  Let's just say he has done a fine job in one of the toughest periods this nation has ever gone through.  We are not going to say that he would not do fine in a second term.

What we are saying is let's look at the real facts of where we are right now and where we want to go as a nation.  Barack Obama has no real world business experience.  He was trained more for politics than anything else.  There is nothing wrong with that.  Mitt Romney brings forth to the podium for all of us to consider his background as both a very successful business man as well as a very successful politician.

  It is these two qualities that have the potential to bring us out of our present situation more than any other.  With Mitt Romney's background in both politics and business, who is more ready and able to deal with and work with businesses to help get the economy going?   Barack Obama does not easily speak the language of business.  As a politician, Mitt Romney is also ready to deal with tough issues of our nation and has been studying the problems for a number of years now.  Barack Obama has not had the luxury to sit back in a relaxed environment to study the issues, he has had to face them head on.

  Yes, Barack Obama knows where this nation is right now better than anyone based on his being the commander in chief.  However, how much time has he had to reflect on what is going on?  He has to act.  Mitt has had ample time to reflect and develop better plans.

  This next part you are welcome to argue all you want, but Mitt Romney is more likely to protect our Constitution, family values, religious rights as well as the right to not participate in any form of religious beliefs better than Barack Obama.  Mitt has a large family himself and so he knows what it takes to care for and protect than family.  That is not to knock Barack Obama who is also a family man, but Barack Obama does not know what it is like to take care of such a large family and do what it takes.

  You can easily get all the background information on both candidates all over the net.  What we are saying here is dig deeper into who you are considering and look at the bigger picture.  Get out of the mud slinging and just turn it off.  Look at what each candidate brings to the plate and make a careful consideration.

  If you are a Democrat, step back and take a look at Mitt's past and present and you will see that you share a lot of the same values.  Stop letting the press make your decisions for you.  This race is very close and will continue to the wire very close.  We wish both candidates the best.

Preparing For Further Military Strikes In The Middle East

WASHINGTON - Intelligence experts and U.S. government officials are starting to view the attack in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Benghazi as a coordinated attack.

Congressman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., went as far Wednesday to say the attack had all the hallmarks of al-Qaida.

"This was a coordinated attack, more of a commando style event. It had both coordinated fire, direct fire, indirect fire," Rogers said following an intelligence briefing on Capitol Hill.

Other sources, including officials at the Pentagon and the State Department, are also discussing the possibility that it was a planned operation, and some say several developments support the possibility.

The incident does not appear to be a random mob scene, but rather an opportunity that militants seized, sources say. The attackers used a rocket-propelled grenade, a weapon not traditionally carried by protesters, but commonly used by terrorists.

The attack is believed to have come in two waves. The first wave got inside of the compound, and a second wave penetrated a secure location inside the building. This development raises questions about how the attackers knew the location of that secure facility, sources say.

On Sept. 11, al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri put out a video eulogizing Abu Yahya al-Libi, an Islamist terrorist and high-ranking al-Qaida member, who was killed in a drone attack in June. Sources have said they believe the Libyan incident might have been revenge for the death of al-Libi.

The embassy was housed in a local building that had been contracted temporarily. It was not an "Inman" compound, which is a building designed with certain security protocols, such as "standoff" distances between the public street and the actual facility.

This name comes from the Arabic verb “Qa´ada” which mean “to sit”, pertinently, on the “Toilet Bowl”. In most Arabs homes there are two kinds of toilets: “Al-Qaeda” also called the "Hamam Franji" or foreign toilet, and "Hamam Arabi" or “Arab toilet” which is a hole in the ground. Lest we forget it, the potty used by small children is called "Ma Qa´adia" or "Little Qaeda".

The Film That Is Sparking Middle Eastern Riots - The Fight To Control Your Mind

This above video trailer is part of what is sparking off all the riots against the US in Egypt and Libya.  We are not posting this video clip here to incite more issues, but to report on what the issues are.  The above video was posted on 9/11 by News Politics Now 3 on You Tube.  In fact You Tube now has a very large amount of trailers showing up on the site trying to claim a share of the hits.



This video above is the real trailer posted back in July that is said to be causing all of the riots now.  The film maker?  One Sam Bacile.  However, the name is fake. CBS news reports that he is not from the US at all.  The US is getting a lot of bad press because the video was produced here.  So where is this guy from?  It is said that he is an Arab Christian.  Why did he make the movie?  From two interviews he gave before he went into hiding, his family was attacked by Muslims while living in Egypt and he still has family there.

  The CBS news report shows that it is a common practice for Muslims to attack Christians in various areas of the middle east.  The trailer received little attention until Bacile, (Fake name), dubbed the video in Arabic.  It was this Arabic translation that sent the shock waves throughout the middle east.

  The official news here is that the video was produced to bring to light the plight of Christians being persecuted by Muslims throughout the Middle East.  Frankly, we smell a rat.  Look at the movie trailer and you see a low budget film purposely designed to poke fun at Muslim's.



This film is controversial in nature and may just explain what is really going on here.  Is it possible that the film was produced to continue the fighting in the Middle East?  To bring the US into Egypt and Libya?  These are just questions that we bring to you.  The entire matter is disturbing no matter how you look at it.
