How To Beg for Money From Your Local Government

In the above Gloucester County section of this video, you get to see how to properly beg for money from the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors.  You send up a pretty woman with that Barby Doll look and you smoke screen the folks with bizarre concepts such as having provided an incredible gift somehow bestowed on the county, such as the space that the county rents from you for one of the public libraries in the area.  (Yes, this is what the folks at the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust tell us, the space that the county rents from them was a gift to the county.)

A gift to the county that we must pay for.  If it were not for government rents at their shopping center, the place would crumble to nothing and these folks have the audacity to tell us they gave us a gift?  But the entire Board of Supervisors buy into this little game anyway.  How foolish they are.  You have to watch the clip to the end and watch the hilarity of two of the board member speaking or should we say, attempting to speak to the issue of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust, begging for taxpayer money.

Robert, JJ, Orth starts to speak, but is being, what appears, as less than honest.  Listen to his voice.  The lips can lie, but the body cannot.  Mr Orth is stumbling with his words and using um and uh sounds and sounds very dry.  These are key features that would highly suggest that he is being less than honest.

Next we have John Meyer who has different tells.  He also seems to be less than honest and forthright.  His hand moves towards his mouth as though to say he should not be saying what he is saying.  We agree with that gesture when looking at it all in these terms.

Now if you will also note, the board never votes to fund the project the Gloucester Main Street Preservation People begged for.  Instead, the board just agrees to give them their begged for plea.  The local paper did such a nice cover up story on all of this.  Why didn't they vote?  Because of the potential for a conflict of interest.  The new chair, Ashley Chriscoe is on the Board of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust and it would be a very clear conflict of interest for him to vote on this matter.  Why didn't he just excuse himself and let the others vote?  Because each one of them could, by reason, of a new election that happened latter that evening, become the next person on the Board for the GMSPT, creating yet another conflict of interest.

So did this prevent the conflict of interest from occurring?  No.  They all agreed to fund it anyway.  They just did not vote on it.  That is why the uncomfortable little dance.  By the way, giving away money like that is a violation of Constitutional laws.  Thanks.  Each of you took an oath to uphold the US and Commonwealth of Virginia Constitutions and each of you have violated that oath over and over and over again.  And they wonder why people hate the county government so much?  Really?

Wait until you see some of the other crap these folks pulled in this one meeting.  More to come.

Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust Embedding Themselves Deeper Into Our Local Government?

Whenever dealing with the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust or any of their other affiliated groups, one always has to ask if you are dealing with a bunch of heathens to begin with as these groups all use Pagan or Devil worship symbols in all of their organizations.  But they claim it's just decorative and has no meaning.  Sure it doesn't.  And the Earth isn't round either, it's flat.  Well here is yet another one of their groups we found.

CENTER for SELF – GOVERNANCE
Level 1 – Foundations in Self Governance
Welcome to the Center for Self Governance.  This Level  1 course is designed to introduce the concepts surrounding  self- governance, civic authority and bring everyone up to a common level of knowledge regarding our role in exercising our civic responsibilities and authority.
“As citizens we often lack the knowledge, skills, and ability to articulate our desire to make the policy changes necessary to restore our government to its proper role. Current liberty-minded civics training only teach theory. We teach concrete ways, through educational training and practical exercises, how to influence legislators and policy.”  www.tncsg.org
This course is foundational and will lay the groundwork necessary to successfully implement the lessons learned in future courses.
Dress comfortably;  The class will decide which nearby restaurant to order lunch from. Your workbook is included with your payment. Prior Level 1 students may audit the class for $10.

Now the Center For Self Government looks like a decent organization.  Our question is, is the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust involved with this in order to train minions to gain more control over our local government?  Having watched these folks for some time, we would highly suggest that this is the case.  Anyone want the Golden Cafe worshiped at the courthouse?  It seems like we already have on Board of Supervisor who worships at that alter.  He could not wait to get on their board.  That BoS member happens to be Ashley Chriscoe.

  Board of Directors 2014:
Chairman:  Breckenridge Ingles
Vice Chairman: Ralph Jackson
Secretary:  Robert Hatten
Other Board Members: Theresa Stavens, Ashley Chriscoe, William Walker, Joe Fary, James Dudley, Rudy Heinatz
Counsel to the Board:  Alan Diamonstein, Lindsey Carney (non-voting)
Executive Director:  Jennifer E. Crittenden (non-voting)
http://mspt.org/about.html  Link to the About Us page showing Ashley Chriscoe on the MSPT board as listed above.

Counsel to the Board, Alan Diamonstein, has some interesting ties in a number of areas with these folks all over Gloucester county.

Take a good look at that website and ask yourself why anyone would do what they are claiming to do?  Looks more like a cover for taking over areas of local business, government and ways to get inside people's pockets who are unsuspecting.  Cavet Emptor.  Getting involved in anything these folks do?  Your better off spending your money on a Disney Vacation,  It's more realistic and infinitely more enjoyable.

The above picture in the top left hand corner, we show how the MSPT uses a hidden pentagram in their symbol.  Hidden in plain sight.  But it's just a design element and the Earth is flat too.  Trust these folks as far as you would trust Satan himself is our own opinion.

Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust, Secret Shadow Gloucester, VA Government Extended Into 2014?

Gloucester County, Virginia Vice Chair, Board of Supervisor's, Ashley Chriscoe,  has been assigned a board member seat with what we consider the secret shadowy Gloucester, Virginia government, Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust.  An organization that makes no sense in anything they do other than to extend themselves into the county government and make changes that seem to do more harm to the businesses on Main Street than they do good and cost taxpayers a lot of extra money they should not need to spend.

The tentacles of the Gloucester Main Street Area seem to continue to grow well past their initial intended area and digging into the pockets of many taxpayers who have shown their dislike for such.   The Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust is not a non profit organization.  As such, since they are conducting business, they must be a for profit business.  If this is so, do they have a business license?  And if they have a business license, why is a county Board of Supervisor, Vice Chair sitting on their board as a board appointment?   Last year we showed how Louise Theberge sat on a seat with the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust and voted on any project that came up before the Board of Supervisors through the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust.  Will Ashley Chriscoe use his new position to expose this group or will he excuse himself from any votes that come up with any business coming from the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust?  We will be watching this very closely.  Carter Borden is back on the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust Board of Directors this year, but he is no longer a Board of Supervisor so it's a non issue.  He can just help the GMSPT Board with inside county info based on having been on the inside.

Louise Theberge is off the board this year.  Guess her usefulness is no longer useful.  Carter Borden was on the GMSPT Board back in 2011 when he was also the chair of the Board of Supervisors.  We have not looked at his voting record for when he sat on both seats.

Lamppost Basket Beautification Project

Description Of The Project

Beginning in 2007 and running thru 2010, the Main Street Preservation Trust managed and predominantly funded the installment, planting, and maintenance of 40 flowering lamppost baskets along Gloucester Main Street.  Several baskets are sponsored by community organizations, businesses, and individuals memorializing and honoring others.  These baskets have become a welcomed addition to Spring and are generally installed in early May and remain a constant visual treat until the end of October.  The baskets have served to enhance the overall aesthetics and environment on Main Street and have been enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.  To sponsor a basket, please download the form below.  Please note that as of 2011, the Cook Foundation will be taking the lead on this project as they are a 501c3 organization and therefore any lamppost basket sponsorships are tax deductible.  Please consider joining us in our beautification efforts

So as noted above in their own information, they are not a non profit organization.  If they are a trust, then how is this trust being funded and where is the money coming from?  Why do they keep working on expanding their area of control?  Why are they embedded into the county government?  Why do they even get involved in planning outside of their own business concerns?  These are some questions they simply do not answer.  It's questions every taxpayer in this county needs to be asking.  A group of concerned citizens?  Really?  Why are they not spending their money on advertising instead of giving away matching funds for facades on Main Street, but doing nothing to draw in visitors?

They claim to promote and sponsor events that help the businesses on Main Street such as market days where they want you to come to the Farmers Market and skip going to the actual farmers market that is already on Main Street during the summer?  Virginia Symphony concerts help local businesses how when it is held when businesses are closed?  Blues and Brews helps local merchants how?  They are selling beer and food at the event.  We simply do not get it.

What is also interesting is the fact that last year, they considered themselves a non profit and county records show this.  Yet according to sites that list all non profits have never listed the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust and again, the trust claims on their site that as of 2011, they are not a non profit organization.  Anyone remember last year's Daffodil festival fiasco?  They allow county non profit organizations to run special events without having to pay special fees, because they are exempt.  Blue and Brews was to be run under the umbrella of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust instead of the Gloucester Main Street Association due to the Gloucester Main Street Association is a for profit business.  We still have the Gloucester Mathews Gazette Journal articles on this in our office.

Are we all being conned by a criminal organization?  We just went through the old story and it looks like we have all been conned a lot more than anyone knows.  According to the old article, Ted Wilmot, (Twitching Ted I'm not an attorney, Wilmot) Gloucester County Attorney, (Court Jester, we will figure out a way to make it happen no matter what the law says),  was working on getting an itinerant merchant exemption for a for profit organization, the Gloucester Main Street Association.  What is that about?  We covered issues with Brew Jam in the past here on this site.

We will continue to dig on these issues as it all looks incredibly strange to say the very least.

Gloucester, VA - What Are The Board of Supervisors And The GMSPT Hiding?

Since we posted our article on the planning documents for Gloucester Main Street area, showing that these documents contain plans for the potential demolition of the Edge Hill Service Station, we have had several attacks against us.  The attacks stopped once we asked the right question.  Why have plans been made against private property?

What business do Gloucester County officials and the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust have making plans that look at private property?  Why did Gloucester County Board of Supervisors vote 7 to zero to accept looking at these plans when they should have known that the plans have highly questionable tactics loaded into them?  Louise Theberge should know full well that the plans contained this issue since she is on both boards.

If you look at the attackers comments, you will see that the person is close to the issues.  "Yes, keep it going. You display your ignorance and wild leaps of "logic" which time will show are at best confused. The station was painted white prior to being sold to the current owner who plans to upgrade the existing building and corner. This reality has nothing to do with a planning document ... say what you will about the planning document's merit ... it is not prescriptive. Not even the long arm of zoning can force a property owner to comply with a planning document. So, like I said, keep up the ignorance and people will gradually see that you have no idea what you are talking about. I particularly like your brazen posting of my previous message and you will probably do the same with this one ... I hope. Ignorance is not bliss. on Gloucester, VA - Readers Respond To Edge Hill Service Station Slated For Possible Demolition"

The attack is made at the personal level towards us and uses deceptive language designed to take what we presented off track.  We presented a copy of the planning documents showing the plans for potential demolition.  This was the first attack on us when we did.

"Please keep posting stories like this. They prove that you have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about.

The restoration of the station has hardly begun with much work left. Check your facts before you post alarmist articles. I'm guessing you have not spoken with the owners ... they would have told you what is actually going on. "

These pages come right off of the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust's site.  We didn't make this stuff up.  This is the exact information that was presented to the Board of Supervisors that they voted 7-0 to accept looking over. Why the attacks?  What are they hiding?  These documents are public though very hard to find and take forever to download.  These documents clearly show plans for the Edge Hill Service Station.  According to our attacker, the new owner has other plans for the service station which would mean that both the GMSPT and Gloucester County officials are violating the rights of private property and the rights of the new owner as well as the rights of private enterprise.  Is this why we were attacked?  To get this information off the site so that the public would not figure this out?

Are there plans to somehow take over this property from the present owner?  We do not know, we are only asking the question.  It's disturbing to see issues like this when you have Louise Theberge being the chairperson of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors and also on the board of the Gloucester Main street Preservation Trust, playing both sides.  You will never get a straight answer.

Now part of our story covered the issue that Edge Hill has been restored.  The facade at present does not look anything like our top picture.

The building now is an off white or light tan color with murals painted on it's side and numerous exterior damage has been  repaired.  Hence the exterior meets the term restored.  Maybe not period restored, but restored never the less.

That took money.  Tearing it down after all this work would seem a shame unless the inside is in such disrepair that the required repairs would be more expensive than it's worth.  Not likely though.  So again, why the attacks?  What is someone trying to hide?  The attacker is attacking us like we made up the planning document.  We reported to the public what part of the planning document contains.  We will be covering more of the planning document as it has some pretty ridiculous areas to it.

Why did the attacker call the initial article alarmist when all we did was show the public what the planning documents contain?  Once that was brought up, the attacker went to another direction.  And again, you can see that this is someone inside.  Inside which organization is part of the question.  County official?  Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust?    The attacker states that the planning document is not prescriptive.  Again, why was the Edge Hill Service Station even included in the plans then?

Something just isn't right here and what happens to this property in the future might just be a very telling tale.
