The Humane Society of the United States, an organization that does next to nothing for animal shelters but sues, badgers and lobbies politicians and businesses into adopting its radical animals rights agenda, is getting a taste of its own medicine.

In a little-reported ruling by a judge in the District of Columbia earlier this month, the HSUS is going to court to face charges under RICO statues on racketeering, obstruction of justice, malicious prosecution and other charges for a lawsuit it brought and lost against Ringling Brothers Circus' parent company Feld Entertainment, Inc.

After winning the case alleging mistreatment of elephants in its circuses brought by Friends of Animals (later merged into HSUS), the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI), lawyers at Feld filed a countersuit with a litany of charges ranging from bribery to money laundering to racketeering. The attorneys for the animal rights groups asked the judge to dismiss all charges, but most remained because the evidence was overwhelming. So in early August, HSUS will be facing the music in a case that should attract the attention of hunters, ranchers, farmers and anyone impacted by HSUS' radical animal rights agenda.

District judge Emmet G. Sullivan did dismiss allegations of mail and wire fraud, but he did so only because Feld didn't have standing to file this charge. His ruling all but set the stage for a class-action
RICO lawsuit against HSUS for misrepresenting itself in its fundraising campaigns across the nation. This lawsuit easily could bankrupt HSUS, put it out of business and send some of its top executives to prison.

Gloucester Main Street Association Misrepresenting Gloucester, VA

If you take a look at the screen shot above, you will see a picture from the Gloucester Main Street Association's Home page of their website. If you look at the header picture you will notice that the Gloucester Main Street Association claims that Gloucester, Virginia is the Daffodil capital of the world. This is not true and if you go in for more information, it takes you to a page that does not contain any historical information at all. You have to look for the historical information page from the page it takes you to. Strike two. Once on the historical page, when you get to the bottom of the page, the story changes to Daffodil capital of the United States. This part is true. But why lie to everyone on this point?

Okay, maybe it's one major blunder and we can overlook it as long as they bother to fix it. The other issue is the claim that Gloucester, Virginia is Virginia's oldest living village. Not so. Another major mistake. Let's see, what could possibly be older? Yorktown? Yes. Hampton? Very much so. Newport News? Without question. Maybe Williamsburg? How about Jamestown itself? Ya think? At one time they used to claim that Gloucester was the nations oldest living village. I brought that up to them and they said, and I quote, “No one has ever challenged the story.”

Well I guess someone challenged it as they no longer make that claim. Now I challenge the claim that Gloucester is Virginia's oldest living village. Hampton, Virginia already celebrated it's 400^th birthday a few short years ago and I was there to record that event. Jamestown celebrated it's 400^th anniversary back in 2007. Gloucester, Virginia is only 361 years old. It's Virginia's oldest living village how? Beats out Yorktown, Virginia how? What about Portsmouth? Surry? Charles City?

How can anyone expect to attract new business to an area when a self appointed local non profit concern starts out by lying to everyone?   That makes no sense. 

From their website. "In 1990, Gloucester County had become one of the nation’s fastest growing counties with a population of 33,000. National chains began to replace local businesses along Route 17, new residential developments were built, and the Walter Reed hospital expanded."

Really?  One of the nation's fastest growing counties?  Not on the list.  CLICK HERE for the list of the fastest growing counties in the USA during that time period.  Yorktown made the list, but Gloucester didn't. Yet another complete fabrication?  An outright lie?  

Some of the directors for the Gloucester Main Street Association are also high ranking Gloucester County, Virginia employees. Guess we are not surprised then by the lies on their site. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see more businesses come to main street especially not chain store types. I would love to see more businesses come to Gloucester overall. But you can't try and start a business relationship based on numerous lies and the complete fabrication of information. It's just sickening.

Bill Gates Owner Of 220ft White Cloud Ship?

Is Bill Gates the owner of the 220ft White Cloud ship?  69th largest private ship in the world.  Make no mistake about it.  This ship may be a bit older in design, but she is still an incredible beauty.  Just look at how she dwarfs all the other boats around her.  And yes, that is a real full size helicopter on the back deck.  For years everyone has been trying to learn who the owner of this ship is.  All of the information out there confirms that she is American owned.  Attempts to find out who the owner is by the public has not proved successful.

Now there are a good number of people who fit the profile in the US to own this ship, however, none fit the profile better than Bill Gates.  He's retired and traveling the world with his wife giving away millions to certain charities.  The White Cloud is seen all over the world docked in some beautiful areas.  We met with some of the staff of the White Cloud and spoke with them.  They are well trained never to reveal the ownership of this boat.

Is Holli Cohoon Stalking This Victim? Gloucester, VA Board of Supervisors Do Not Deny Corruption

One of our team members posed an interesting legal question that we just are not able to answer.  How did Holli Cohoon get the address of the victim in this case?  Did she pull favors from the Gloucester, VA Sheriff's Office who would have then illegally given Holli the victim's private information?  Did the information come from maybe an old friend at the 911 call center who would have had access to pull those files and again illegally gave them to Holli?  Or is someone in the Gloucester, VA Sheriff's Office using Holli as a front?

  Here are some interesting points.  We sent detailed information about this case to the Gloucester, VA Board of Supervisors.  We received confirmation that they received the emails.  They have done nothing about the information about the case hence they do not deny the corruption.  Because we have shed a lot of light on the corruption of the Gloucester County Sheriff''s Office, Gloucester County Animal Control and a number of members of the court system and even the county attorney, Ted Wilmot, this looks like a way in which they are trying to stop the news from coming out.  Did we get to close to some other corruption?  Property tax abuses or something else?

Go back and look at Holli's court testimony against the victim in this case and listen to the 911 call.  They do NOT match up.   In fact, we contracted a professional 911 operator who explained in detail to us every area on the 911 recording that protocol was thrown out and nothing on that call could have been authentic in any way.  The recording was a complete violation of 911 procedures.  https://sites.google.com/site/gloucestervanews/segment-3  This is a link right to the 911 call recording as provided by the Gloucester County, VA Sheriff's Office and used in court.

Heads up: ID required at voting booths in November

9:15 a.m. EDT, July 25, 2012

Voters casting ballots in Virginia are now required to show identification at the polls, according to information provided by Gloucester General Registrar Bobbi Morgan.

Previously, if you didn't have identification you were required to sign an "Affirmation of Identity" and voted normally.

Under the new law, voters without identification have to vote a provisional ballot and provide the Voter Registrar's office with a copy of some sort of identification by noon of the Friday after the election. Otherwise, the vote won't count.

Here's a list of acceptable identifications, provided by the Virginia Board of Elections:

--Commonwealth of Virginia voter identification card;

--Social Security card;

--Valid Virginia driver's license;

Jeff Stillman Burning Animals By Local Schools And Churches

We looked at the local Gloucester map again where Jeff Stillman of Animal Control is burning animals and noticed that it is located in very close proximity to two schools, Bethal elementary school and Peasley middle School as well as Bethal baptist church.   So if the wind blows the right way, all the local children have the extreme pleasure of breathing in little fluffy being burnt to a crispy ashes.  We said before that we highly question Jeff Stillman's involvement with this animal cremation business being an Animal Control officer right here in Gloucester.  That really has such a huge potential for a conflict of interest.  In the event he claims he is not involved?  Here is the evidence right from their Facebook page.

Of course there is more evidence on here showing Jeff is active in the business.  Can you imagine coming out of church and having ash land on you only to discover that it's ash from someone's pet?  How about your son or daughter going to school and having ash land on them from some animals being burnt by Jeff and his wife.  Maybe you do not mind your children breathing in the smoke from some horse being cremated only right down the street?  Honestly.

Holli M Cohoon Now Harassing Victim?

Is Holli M Cohoon now harassing the victim she gave highly questionable testimony against?  

Let's go back to the beginning on this.  Holli M Cohoon was once a 911 operator for the Gloucester, VA Sheriff's Office.  We have been reporting for some time now on this case and we have shown that at the very least, Holli has lied in court.  Now all of a sudden from out of nowhere, the victim gets this emergency protective order a few days after we released a story on Holli and her Sunrise Donut shop.

  The victim in this case was initially raided by the Gloucester, VA Sheriff's Office, under Sheriff Steve Gentry, and Gloucester, VA Animal control without a search warrant.  A search warrant was not issued to this victim until later in the day after she was released from jail.  This victim had no idea was she was even taken to jail.

We have shown that the search warrant that was given to the victim after being released from jail was not valid in any area of law.  We showed also that this victim had all kinds of false evidence used against her by Gloucester, VA Animal Control and the Gloucester, VA Sheriff's Office.  We show that Holli's testimony was no where near the other false evidence given by others presenting further false evidence.
We have shown how the evidence is false.

  The victim in this case has been working on a lawsuit against Holli M Cohoon for some time now and it is opinion that Holli may have gotten wind of a pending lawsuit and is using this as a way to throw off the case.  So is this a harassment attempt by Holli?

 When putting together a lawsuit, you get detailed information on what the other party owns in order to determine if the lawsuit can be justified.

Now here is some other information we find very interesting.  We went over the above document with a fine tooth comb and see that Gloucester County court officials followed everything to the letter of the law.  Now how is it they can do this now but were unable to do this in the past?  Every area properly signed, every aspect properly dated and executed.  Yet on the search warrant given after the raid on the victim, nothing was done properly.  Go back into our archives and see for yourself.  We posted that evidence.  Or Click Here to see all the evidence from this case.

Mathews Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Wreck

MATHEWS — A Mathews man died Saturday afternoon after the truck he was driving veered off the road and careened into a utility pole.

Michael James Diggs, 22, was driving a 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup eastbound on Route 198 just west of the intersection with Hookemfair Road at about 4:50 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, said Sgt. Greg Mathias of the Virginia State Police. Diggs over corrected and ran off the left side of the road before the vehicle overturned and struck a utility pole.

Diggs was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, Mathias said. He was not wearing a seat belt.

A passenger, Jeremy Stephen Forrest, 20, of Mathews, was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Mathias said. Forrest was believed to be wearing a seat belt, he said.

Man Dies of Apparent Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound in Gloucester, VA

GLOUCESTER — A man from Gloucester who died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound was discovered in his vehicle Tuesday morning in the parking lot of a Hayes shopping center.

The Gloucester emergency dispatch center received a call at 9:16 a.m. in regard to the incident at the shopping center where a Farm Fresh store and the Gloucester Boys and Girls Club are located, said Capt. Ryan Cookson of the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office. Investigators were on the scene on Tuesday and no other details are being released, Cookson said.

Bill of Bill's Welding located along route 17 in Hayes is the person who was found in the Hayes parking lot shopping center.  As we have been told, it was in the Farm Fresh parking lot.  Our heart felt condolences to the family.  Bill was one of those rare few left here in the US who was a true machinist.  A hard worker who will be missed in Gloucester.

Gloucester, VA Property Tax Abuses?

Are there abuses going on in the Gloucester County Tax offices?  We are starting to ask that question right now.  In our last story about Jeff Stillman and his questionable involvement in an animal cremation business, we started looking at property maps and taxes.  The cremation business is not listed with an address.  We had our Arizona staff look up and cross reference records.  They were surprised that a personal property with a new business such as this has had it's property taxes lowered.  With a large percentage of county residents mostly seeing tax increases on their properties over the last few years, how could this location have it's property taxes lowered?

  I asked them to dig deeper.  Once again, the property that Jeff and Crystal Wilkinson Stillman are on is owned by one John Wilkinson.  Crystal's father.  The Arizona team looked at the properties around 6464 Ark road to look at the tax structures there as well.  Properties owned there by John Wilkinson went down in the most recent tax assessments while neighbors had their taxes raised for the most part.  Not in every situation, but in the majority.


  So we asked them to dig some more.  Since Holli M Cohoon has recently been in our spotlight, we asked them to see what they could turn up there.  More very disturbing news.  Holli's husband is one Christopher Ellis Cohoon.  They live on Bellamy Lane in Gloucester.  Here is what our Arizona staff gave us.  The Cohoon's tax liability has gone down $47,000.00 on the last tax assessment.  Let's look at some other issues on this.  What we also have learned is that the Cohoon family did some extensive renovations and additions to their home before the tax reassessments.  The old assessment was 409,600.00 dollars and the new assessment after renovations is now 362,400.00 dollars.  Over a 47,000.00 dollars drop.

All of this is a matter of public records.  So we are not reporting anything at all a secret at any level.  This is a neighborhood where property values should be up, not down.  Now of course this has given us a whole new area of further investigations.  Our next person to look at was Steve Baraneck.  10377 West View Hills Road.  His property taxes went up.  From 269,000.00 to 302,800.00 dollars.  That's over 33,000.00 dollars in an increase.  We are wondering who he ticked off.  His neighbors did not see this type of a dramatic increase in tax value assessments.  Not even close.


  Now here is yet another question.  How can someone who works for Animal Control, a notoriously low paying job, afford a house valued in this price range?  Sugar momma or income from undisclosed sources?  Either way, our team in Arizona now have a list of more properties to start investigating and a lot of questions to start asking.

Jeff Stillman of Gloucester Animal Control Hits Our Spotlight Again

I  have lived in Gloucester Virginia for as long as I can remember. I live on a farm that I grew up on, with my husband and 2 great kids with our horse, goats, dogs, bunnies ,and a cat. We love being around animals and want to help in any way we can. We decided , after talking with my husband to start our own animal cremation service not long after my sheltie , Shadow, I had for 11 years past away due to cancer. We had him cremated back in 2004. That is when we realized that there was not many places local that offered this service.  

We want to be able to help other animal lover with their 4 legged family members passing needs


The above are the words as found on a website named Shadow Farms Animal Cremation Services.  The site and the cremation services are provided right here in Gloucester County. On the property of Jeff Stillman's wife's father, one John Wilkenson, where both Jeff and his wife Crystal live.  Great, these folks own a business.  More power to anyone who owns a business.  I'm all for it, that is as long as it has no potential to possibly interfere with one's job.  


  This is where the story begins.  Jeff Stillman is an Animal Control Officer right here in Gloucester County.  With this particular job, there is a very real chance for a conflict of interest and in multiple ways.  Does Jeff contract with the county to burn road kill that in the past was just taken to the dump?  Does Jeff put undue pressure on animal owners around Gloucester to use his services?

 Another area that really bothers us is the question of this being a great place to get rid of evidence.   Exactly how is the County allowing him to have ownership in a business that is clearly a serious conflict of interest concern?  Did his wife or someone else lie on county records as to ownership of the business?  Look at the statement above once again.  Jeff is actively involved in this business and as an Animal Control Officer.  That means there is a very real potential for some serious conflicts of interest.

Another curious area about the Shadow Farms site is the lack of location for these services.  You have to contact them for this.  That's an interesting way of doing business.

Now it is obvious that his wife Crystal Wilkinson Stillman put this site together runs the blog part of it and does the ordering.  Bet it's Jeff that does all the dirty work though.  Look at her writing and it does not seem to be in here to even stomach the dirty side of the business.  CLICK HERE to visit the Shadow Farms Cremation Services, Inc website.

GVLN - Exposing Obama would reveal the depth of US Government corruption

The solution for the United States is not to elect more "good" people to government because they are quickly co-opted and compromised by the corrupt political system.

It may sound cynical, but the solution is to make it politically advantageous for bad people to do the right thing.

It is not now politically advantageous for either the Democrat or the Republican Party to tell the truth about Barack Obama; that he is an illegal President and very likely a felon, who has a forged birth certificate, a forged Selective Service registration and is using a Social Security Number not issued to him.

Both parties are steadfastly protecting Obama to protect their investment in the corrupt political status quo.

The formula is simple. To keep themselves permanently in office, members of Congress collect taxes nationwide, they then use the proceeds to repay wealthy financiers with tax loopholes or government loans and buy constituent votes through local tax-funded projects.

The American people have given Congress a credit card with no limit. Rather than themselves being financially penalized for their largesse, members of Congress simply pass the debt along to ordinary Americans and future generations, while they enrich themselves through the power granted them to spend our money.

The larger the federal government, the greater the number of opportunities arise for politicians to benefit from the scam.

Is anyone surprised that 50% of Congress members are millionaires compared to the 1% millionaires in the United States as a whole?

Both Democrats and Republican recognize that exposing Obama will lead to a bloodbath of revelations about their complicity to undermine the Constitution and flout the rule of law, which would jeopardize their comfortable lifestyles. The truth would generate genuine outrage among the American people.

GVLN - US cities going bankrupt

In past decades, many US municipalities declared bankruptcy. Since 1981, 42 cases were filed. Ten came in the past four years. Given hard times getting harder, what's happening now is unprecedented since the Great Depression. Cities occasionally declare bankruptcy. In America, they're coming more often. Others in dire financial straits may follow.

San Bernardino, CA is the latest. On July 11, The New York Times headlined "Third City In California Votes to Seek Bankruptcy," saying:

Officials have no choice. They can't meet payroll obligations through summer. "Faced with a budget shortfall of $45 million and city coffers that have already been drained, the San Bernardino City Council voted on Tuesday to file for bankruptcy."

Interim city manager Andrea Travis-Miller said: "I am concerned about our ability to make payroll, not only in the next 30 days but also in the next 60 to 90 days. A major restructuring of this organization is needed."

California cities have two Chapter 9 bankruptcy options. They can either hire a third-party mediator to negotiate with unions and creditors or declare a fiscal emergency. San Bernardino chose the latter way. Depression conditions ravage the city. Many others face similar problems. Stockton and Mammoth Lakes declared bankruptcy earlier. Other financially strapped cities and towns around the state and country may follow.

It's hard keeping up with many troubled municipalities, counties, school systems, and other public services potentially facing bankruptcy. In December 2010, financial analyst Meredith Whitney told 60 Minutes that over 100 US cities could go bust in the next year
